How about the new CCM retro look (white stripe) for their new skates! pretty sweet looking! Reminds me of Mario Lemieux… Ek was wearing them last night…

Joe are you saying I am Mario Lemiex? I still wear those.
Sounds like somebody figured out their Halloween costume this year…

With how curly and long my hair is now I could do it. Except all the greys!
October 11, 2024 at 4:35 pm #2293473Boston College vs Michigan State tonight at 5pm on the Big10 Network channel. Chance to see Charlie Stramel play, he’s 2C tonight…
Man I sure hope this kid can figure it out, he’s a BEAST on skates…

Can a goalie skate to the bench to get a new stick?

Absolutely terrible. Reffing amateur hour.
tswobodaPosts: 8381October 12, 2024 at 8:29 pm #2293564Might be the worst call I’ve ever seen. Followed by the worst PK ever seen

Faber tried to ice it, but it was tipped by a Kraken player… might have been scared not to airmail over the glass..
October 12, 2024 at 8:42 pm #2293568Regarding the Eberle PP goal, what’s next, a player laying on the ice backdoor angled towards the net and they just shoot at him hoping for any type of deflection into the net? Cuz that’s basically what he’s doing with his skates…
Actually, its not a bad play by Seattle…
tswobodaPosts: 8381October 12, 2024 at 8:46 pm #2293569Is the loon call new? Or is that just the first penalty they ever killed

funny, I said the same thing… both could be true…
October 12, 2024 at 9:17 pm #2293583How many games will it take for Middleton to knock all of his rust off? His game is alarmingly scary right now…
October 12, 2024 at 9:30 pm #2293585How about Faber’s recovery standing flat footed with speedy as heck Tanev going full speed at him… incredible play we’ll never hear about, TV guys missed it…
basseyesPosts: 2496October 12, 2024 at 9:57 pm #2293589He is not a shoot out guy at all.
Gumby sends her high and just a little outside after whiffing on a wide open net in ot, go figure. The maddening of Boldy continues. So talented and yet such a head case at the same time.
October 13, 2024 at 7:31 am #2293613Kirill hasn’t scored a shootout goal since the 2022/2023 season!
Its time to move him at the very least to the 3rd shooter, but probably best the 4th… his 2nd shot misses are costly and take Freddy completely out of it… Ek and Spurgeon have had alot of SO success, they should be given some opportunity’s….
Not sure what it is with him the past few years, but the creativity he showed early on when he was at around 50% shootout percentage is nowhere to be found…
October 13, 2024 at 8:01 am #2293618Wondering if Ek had a concussion or if an x-ray took awhile to get back?
Strange that he came back to the bench with a bubble, played 1 shift and was immediately pulled… He likely either had dizziness or an x-ray came back and showed a broken jaw that he can’t play with until wired shut….
tswobodaPosts: 8381October 13, 2024 at 8:19 am #2293624With the immediate blood I’m thinking broken nose and/or cut. But those wouldn’t keep him from finishing the game and he also didn’t go to Winnipeg today. So I have no idea. Jaw makes the most sense, but how do they send him back out with a potential broken jaw. And he didn’t look concussed at all, but those are weird

its gotta be that concussion symptoms started once he played a shift or it took awhile to get a doctor to examine the x-ray or get a 2nd opinion confirming a fracture somewhere on his skull (orbital, cheek or jaw)
RipjiggenPosts: 11447October 13, 2024 at 10:10 am #2293636at least we’re not the Oilers, Predators or Avs….
You mean all teams that have been to a cup final.
I’m guessing almost all teams except Columbus say well at least we are not the Wild.CaptainMuskyPosts: 22280
