He also said that they were just seeing how he does at that spot and these arent set lines.

They finally released the times for the games and whoof a 10 PM start time for the Tuesday game. Gonna be some long nights.

surprising they can’t move the Sunday games around so everybody gets a decent start time…I get it for the weekday games, sucks but it is what it is…

ESPN & TNT/TBS have multiple channels, why not start the late games at 9:00pm cst on the extra channel and then move it over to the main when the previous game ends? They do it all the time? (they just did it for the Frozen 4)

well yeah… they want Vegas to spend all that time and energy strategizing how to stop Big Jon Merrill and them BAM! Buium!

1 final playoff series and i’ll be cutting the cable TV cord forever… can’t wait to drop off my Xfinity boxes, cables and remotes for good….

I know the lines will likely change after a few minutes, but I don’t like the idea of Kirill playing with Boldy, spread the offensive wealth out a bit, Boldy was a force playing with Ek and Foligno…Kirill and Zuccy always play well together so no worries there…Make Vegas play/think defense on 2 lines vs one…

I agree. They gotta keep zuccy, rossi, and kaprizov together but man that puts zero size on the top line. Probs put ek out there after a period or so if they’re getting shutdown.

Ek Johansson and Boldy on line two gets my vote.

Foligno needs to chill tf out with the officials. I like the passion but he cannot take dumb penalties in the post season.

Not going to put much thought into forward lines – I think they’ll get switched up a lot throughout the series.

Vegas is 3 good lines deep
Stone-Eichel-Barbashev
Saad-Hertl-Dorofeyev
Olofsson-Karlsson-Smith

You can’t really try to match up even against that and come out ahead on paper. So I can see the idea of loading up 1 line. Problem is Boldy and Kirill haven’t really clicked together this year, not like last year anyway

Some forward groups I’ve liked in different parts of the season:
Kirill-Rossi-Zuccy were really good to start the season
Foligno-Freddy-Trenin was the best pure shutdown line when together
Foligno-Ek-Boldy was fun for a few games

The timber wolves have basically the the same schedule with the Lakers on these start times. Guess I won’t be watching them either until game 4.

Ovi scores again in a meaningless game tonight, 45 for the season, the dude is just a machine…

The NHL should have all teams play the last regular season game on the same day.

So after all of the percentages practically guaranteeing the Wild would make the playoffs, it came down to a pulled goalie game tying goal with 20 seconds left in the 3rd period of game 82….

Haha just goes to show how long of a shot it was. The Wild played like asss for 3 months, Calgary surged the last month, and the Blues set an all time franchise wins streak. Even with all that the Wild still fell in the 90%, not the 10%. Close doesn’t matter when it’s either in or out.

Can we get one final monkey taco bell update?

I was looking at the Athletic this morning about that and damn that would of sucked! Calgary and the Blue sure got hot at the end of the season.

It’s very difficult to catch up in the NHL when you’re behind in the standings because of the 3 point system. Quite often, by the midway point of the season, the playoff teams are pretty much already set.

Losing your way up the standings is the way to go. And the Wild were very good at that down the stretch. Gaining at least 1 point made it very hard for surging teams like the Flames and Blues to catch up.

Columbus almost made it in too after their terrible start. IMpressive job by Deano there.

Agree that Deano did a great job with a team that was projected to finish bottom 3 coming into the year. Would have been an awesome story to see Columbus make the playoffs this year.

It is cool to seem some fresh blood in the East playoffs this year with recent rebuilding teams Ottawa and Montreal finally making it. Not so much in the West, but that’s a good thing for the Wild

Kaprizov seems extremely chatty and overall comfortable with Minnesota media since returning. I’m thinking he’s ready to sign a big fat extension

Where is our resident mole/insider?

Rossi and Faber ELC bonuses totaled about $1.1 million this season, Zeev Buium can hit a $25k bonus if he plays 5 playoff games. So adding that total to the continued $1.6 million Parise and Suter buyouts puts the total dead caphit next season to about $2.7 million…3 more years of $1.6 buyouts…You’re always happy to pay out the ELC bonuses…

But in salary cap raising time that’s like equivalent to 100 bucks.
