My post specifically referenced the other guy’s reaction in the video…but you bring it back to being about BillyG? so predictable…

March 18, 2025 at 1:46 pm #2324745Marat has 2 goals in 5 games for Boston…not saying he’ll turn into a perennial 10-20 goal scorer, but I do think we gave up on him way to early (especially with the team control we had over him contract wise the next few years) and the return we got from Boston makes it look like we got punk’d in the deal…
This one will always be a head scratcher from the standpoint that we cut him loose so quickly vs sending him down to the AHL to work on his game…

Posts: 9657March 18, 2025 at 2:41 pm #2324751Yep he was the only unknown in the deal due to his age. There’s still a chance he turns into a real player, I doubt it, but at least there’s a chance. The other two, not so much.
The AHL part is interesting to me though. Every Russian that’s gone to Iowa has quickly ended up back in Russia, so maybe developing in Iowa wasn’t really on the table. I think Boston is playing him at wing, which they certainly could have tried here.

Boston’s lines have been jumbled up since the trade deadline, but he’s been playing 3rd line wing with Lindholm centering and Lauko on the other side, Lindholm is a slight upgrade vs the AHL scrubs he played with here most of the time
He even got several OT shifts last night vs Buffalo…

March 19, 2025 at 9:21 am #2324857so it pushed one of the teams battling for the last Wildcard spot a bit farther out…big games tonight with the Blues, Flames and Canucks all playing..
wasn’t a good night for the Wild playoff guarantee…only 6 points up now…

Posts: 9657March 19, 2025 at 9:32 am #2324867And yet they’re still at a 95% chance to make the playoffs… exactly like they were a couple weeks ago when it was brought up on here. Multiple (bad) teams would have to pass them
Blues are smoking hot though, looking like the Central takes 5 playoffs spots again… as it should be
March 19, 2025 at 2:51 pm #2324985stumbled upon this clip, not ice hockey related, but “Floor Ball?” shootout between Finland and Sweden, pretty crazy, Evgeny Kuznetsov would fit right in…
March 19, 2025 at 7:28 pm #2325025Can’t wait for the inevitable 930 puck drop tonight. And it’s at home.

its mostly Grubauer, but we’ll absolutely take it…
Seattle could easily have 2-3 goals sofar but GusBus is sharp early..
March 19, 2025 at 9:16 pm #2325053Rossi out for now. Can’t make it up. Hopefully he comes back tonight yet but just unbelievable.
Brazeau was out there for part of the power play.

He’s gotta be one of the worst NHLers I’ve ever seen… its comical watching him out there…
March 19, 2025 at 9:40 pm #2325060At the game tonight with my boys. Dang that was an awesome first 4:29!!!
Sucked watching Rossi limp off the ice. Guy was definitely in pain.
March 19, 2025 at 9:50 pm #2325062No Foligno again. No JoJo due to illness. Now Rossi doesn’t return for the 2nd period. What the…
March 19, 2025 at 10:11 pm #2325064If Rossi’s blocked shot injury turns out to be more than just a bruise and keeps him out for a month+ like Brodin, then we need a serious friggin sage cleansing of the locker room with all the bad juju we’re carrying around…

It was nationally televised after leafs/lanche game
March 20, 2025 at 7:23 am #2325078Another nice win.
9pm start on home ice on a Wednesday, why?
Nationally televised games.. Two games yesterday and they were both on TNT. Tor vs Col started first.
March 20, 2025 at 8:05 am #2325084Reading between the lines on Hynes comments on Kaprizov, the Wild are cooked. My prediction is that not only is KK not coming back this season, but he probably needs an additional surgery.
This is nothing but a Wild front office orchestrated screw job to keep the fans spending money even though KK ain’t coming back. And we all know what that means for playoff success.
Ek might be back but now we’re going to drag ass into the playoffs, without our only legitimate superstar. And now we risk reinjury to Ek even though we’re going absolutely nowhere.
Remind me again, where are we on this Billy Gee Wiz 15 year plan? Is this year 2?

March 20, 2025 at 8:59 am #2325096I’d rather hear he’s done for the season rather than keep us in limbo for no reason. He’s not even close to skating and yet mum’s the word??? WTF. Seriously.
Really wish I could be excited about the playoffs. But to watch them get pounded and have ANOTHER first round exit really doesn’t do anything for me.
