Last night he refuses to come out of the game after his third foul. Showing up the coach.

    Not a good look.
How did Ant come back and play after hopping of the court with a tweaked ankle?

Ant is very dramatic, probably learned it from the whiny kitty?

This is basketball not hockey where hockey players are actually hurt missing teeth, require stitches etc yet come back.

Timberwolves have cooled off lately but still maintain the 1 spot in the West.

Doesn’t really matter, but would be curious to know if they are getting any attention on the national level. I would guess not.

I was watching, not listening, to beyond the horn and whatever that Wilbon show is on ESPN and both discussed the Timberwolves so they are getting some air time.

last few games the effort on D is nothing like it was earlier. is it tired legs, is it something else…..who really knows?
if you told me they would be first in the West a quarter into the season, I would probably call BS.
the older guys like Rudy and Mike should take a game off every 2-3 weeks just for maintenance and I don’t care if they want it or not. Big picture is being fresh in the last quarter and playoffs. time to stretch the bench. its time for Finchy to sprinkle in some of the new kids.

Eyeguy I agree sitting Rudy and Conley. Conley is like 39 right? Rudy looked like a terrible trade last year but he was hurt so it would benefit them mightily to rest guys like these two. Far too valuable.

Nice bounce back win last night. They pasted the Rockets pretty good!

Holy buckets, Wolves just put on a clinic in the 1st half in Orlando. Up by 30 at the half!

The Rockets and Magic games are the only 2 I’ve missed this year.
Glad to hear they are playing better again.

Yeah the Magic arent even a terrible team. Their best player, forget his name, really didnt get going in the 1st half. I dont know if he even had any points, but the second half he was dropping dimes.

Did anyone see some of the dunks Anthony Edwards had the last couple nights? Including tonight’s where he passed it off the glass to himself??

It’s almost hard to believe we have a legitimate young super star.

The one against Detroit was absolutely unreal. I didnt catch any of last nights game but sounded like he was on fire in the second half.

I watched last nights game mainly because I wanted to listen to Chuck Barkley rip on KAT but that dunk was insane! A travel in normal Basketball but just impressive. One guy on the team I like the most is Naz Reid and he got hot in the first half which made it fun to watch.

Naz Reid should play more, but over who I am not sure. I have been watching a fair amount of their games and that Kyle Anderson is just terrible from what I have seen. He shouldnt be out there hardly at all.

Kyle is a good playmaker, can guard multiple positions and plays solid defense. He can also initiate the offense which is something this team lacks. Hes not excellent at any one thing but he is a solid glue guy. The problem ive had with Kyle this year is hes been hesitant to shoot and opponents are sagging off of him which allows them to double others.

Barkley stopped just short of apologizing for calling Connelly and idiot and the Timberwolves pathetic which was nice to see. He will never apologize for being wrong of course cause i dont think hes that kind of person. If you cant tell im not a fan of his. Hes entertaining i suppose but its hes an idiot. That whole TNT crew is filled with idiots

I will trust your analysis since you know more about basketball than I do, but it seems when I watch the team and him that he is the one screwing up turning the ball over or fouling more than other guys. I never knew of the guy before he came here.

Hes definitely not playing as well as he did last year for us or the years he was in Memphis. I believe this is the final year of his contact. Considering our cap issues i doubt we bring him back although i know Finch loves him

I miss Kevin Harlan calling the games for the Timberpups back in the day so it was fun listening to him last night.

Barkley is a bit an idiot but the reason why I like him is that he calls out todays NBA for being soft and a bunch of cry babies. Last night I think he said todays NBA is just a bunch of munchkins.

hes not wrong. a common thing for me to say while watching games is “Bill Laimbeer is rolling over in this grave right now”. I know he isnt dead. Having said that evolution is inevitable and although id much rather watch the Pacers and Knicks play like it was 1995 again, the fact is Chuck would be expendable in todays NBA. Guy would basically be a high energy rebounder off the bench

Yup. The up and under move is also traveling if both feet don’t leave the floor at the same time.

How many turnovers has Ant had in the last 3 or 4 games. He lost the game in Boston with 3 turnovers in the last 2:33 of game time. Had several more last night. He’s got to tighten that part of his game up. A dunk whatever the flavor is only 2 points.

Yeah, but the NBA could call Lebron traveling 25 times per game and they dont and its so much worse. Who was it from the WOlves that just got fined for embellishment or whatever. Heck, I see Lebron do that 3 or 4 times PER game.
