If they put up a stinker in game 3 Stephen A. and company will sing a different tune.

If nothing else, maybe this years Wolves team will start to bring a little defense back into the NBA. Its really great to watch a game where the whole team plays great Defense. Don’t see that much in the NBA these days.

Hopefully they don’t figure much out until we have 3-4 championship trophies in the case.

I’m amped for the pups but deep breaths man. What exactly have Naz and NAW been doing for years? I’d argue both are having career breakout years. Naz doubled his 3pt attempts from past seasons while increasing his make % by like 5% — that’s nuts. They both have been solid players but to say they’ve been doing this for years and have been ignored just isn’t accurate.

Listen here dirty, I been breathing hard since I was a pimplefaced 11 year old kid in 1989 listening to wolves games on my hifi dual cassette fm radio. Back then us kids all wanted to be like “Mike” and now us old heads are just a touch excited so don’t wizz in my corn flakes buddy boy.

Naz broke out like 3 or 4 years ago and keeps getting better every year. NAW was a throw in during the Rudy deal 2 years ago and would be the best perimeter defender on 80% of teams around the association if not for guys like Jaden, Rudy and Ant. Its actually shocking that both these studs did not leave for more money but wanted to build what was already here which you don’t see everyday.

How many games have you watched last few years? Not very many by your assessment of Naz and Nickeil. If you had watched, you would know the impact both have had running the second unit. Naz is a legend in MN and Nickeil has improved in all facets of his game so much that he will be too expensive to keep……..FACTS

Eyeguy I’m not even a BB guy and you’re spewing facts. From what I’ve seen those have been consistent for several years. I admitted I was wrong about Anderson but he’s been huge too.

Apparently Murray received a 100k fine but no suspension. I certainly believe he should be suspended, and virtually every analyst I heard today agreed. Doesn’t set a good precedent.

That’s complete BS. Someone could’ve easily rolled an ankle because a paid professional reacted like a child. Horrible precedent to set IMO.

He makes 29.5 million dollars a season. Times your salary by .0035 and see how that would affect you. At 100k a year thats like 350 bucks. What a joke.

So many casuals rip on Kyle because he doesn’t pass the eye test. When I first saw him play, I immediately thought the same…..but then I watched all the little things he does throughout the coarse of a game that rarely show up in the boxscore. Slomo is a magician and brings so much leadership. Every team needs a Slomo.

When they acquired him last year I thought what the… The more I watched the more I saw his effectiveness. His pace really seems to throw off a lot of defenders. When you’re use to seeing fastballs, here comes the SloMo 60mph changeup. He’s sneaky quick too.

I like slomo, I just cringe when he sets up for a 3 pointer… he’s the type of veteran most championship level teams always seem to have…

He has a very unorthodox shooting style that is for sure!

I still don’t know if I could name all 5 starters, I can maybe identify 3-4 players if I see them, and I still think one of their starters also won the Heisman after a solid year as QB of LSU. I don’t think anyone saw this level of defense coming in the playoffs, especially against these 2 opponents. Well except Eyeguy, but he also thought the under the table payment to Joe Smith wasn’t the worst idea.

He’s from Jersey and played with a group of kids that called themselves the Jelly Fam. Evidently he was the only one that made it to the NBA so they called him Big Jelly. Helps he is big too I guess.
Im pretty sure my next dog or pet will be named Naz or Jelly…..maybe both?

I did not see anyone post it but Rudy won his 4th DPOY yesterday. This team is stacking not just wins but awards too. Naz got the 6th man, Conley is teammate of the year and maybe more to come? Finchy finished second for coach of the year too. Friday night will be lit……can’t wait! I heard ticket prices are ridiculous.

Yeah I was watching TNT yesterday when they announced it and then had Rudy on for an interview. He’s got that goofy French accent but he seems like a good dude. Really like how this team has gelled together I don’t think you can underestimate that.

Something else that doesn’t get talked about too much was the job Tim Connelly did in constructing this team. Props!

Oh it gets discussed plenty on different platforms. Many experts were ready to call for his job after giving up so much for Rudy and not meeting expectations last year.
Rosas actually laid the groundwork by drafting Ant and finding anyone gullible enough to take Wiggins and that albatross of a contract. TC basically turned that into Mike Conley and NAW plus picks. Both guys are responsible for what we see today.

I just want another Championship in this state, besides the Twins 2 and the Lynx… however many they have.

Holy balls! I just saw a clip on youtube of Kevin Durant and he called out basically his entire team and said he was done with them. He gave a shout out to Ant and said “I will be in touch when free agency starts”. I cant even imagine a team with him added to it!
