Going to start this 2023 year off right. This time by my wife, she finally got her biggest walleye topside. I’ve been trying for many years to get her on a big one and she finally did. 27.5″ 9lbs 15oz this thing was massive for how short it was, released for the next angler.

@isu22andy had a good day collecting his biggest walleye at 8.25# with a runner up at 7.5#. 62 fish day with 16 over 20″.
Clarity supported the bite at 18″ due to recent barge traffic.

    Test

I’m hit and miss with taking tests, but I’m going to say six white pelicans and a couple seagulls in back. Did I pass?

Nephews caught their first and PB’s this weekend, the younger nephews went 22” so big brother wants to top that now. Last weekend was one of the best fishing weekends at the cabin, lots of bass and pike and 3 midday walleye which is very rare on our lake.

Well I couldn’t let my wife have the big fish crown this year. Narrowly beat her out with a 10.5lb 30″ walleye this past week. She’ll have to come with me fishing more to get back on the leader board lol. Fish was released shortly after a quick photo.
