Can you imagine spending the money to go to that game in Vegas. Probably not a lot of fan banter going on.

Right, with all of the talk of Vikings fans invading the town, what a let-down. But honestly, it’s Vegas and it’s the Raiders. Not my top town to go see any Vikings games until they get a good fanbase going. Which might be never. What a dumb place to play football.

    The NFL product right now….woof.

It’s probably shattering viewership and ticket revenue like mad.

What is presumed as chaos to some, is not how the NFL sees it. There’s more parity in the league than most seasons. Both playoff races have a complete log jam of teams keeping fan bases excited. The crazy officiating calls and players reacting to them publicly just creates further talking points. Andy Reid piping up about a penalty call that was blatantly correct almost feels fabricated…like the NFL loves a good conspiracy or heated conversations for all the networks to swallow and regurgitate for weeks on end. Hell, there’s even Taylor Swift’s cult involved in the league like never before

I could imagine Goodell licking his lips and acting like Vince McMahon.

    Selling “87” jerseys too.

Sometimes it makes a guy wonder…

Did anyone hear or see any comment about when was the last time an NFL game ended in a 3-0 score?

Pittsburgh beat Miami in 2007 3-0. Had it ended in a 0-0 tie, that would have been the first 0-0 tie since 1943.

I had kinda remembered that game from 2007, turns out it was a Monday night game so that’s probably why. Remember there was some outcry that they should have postponed the game because it was pouring and the field was complete mush in Pittsburgh. Pretty embarrassing that vikes/raiders could only score 3 points in perfect weather.

Vegas is probably the #1 NFL ticket right now. Just not for Raiders fans. But there is a reason every major sports franchise is rushing there. I had a buddy go, and paid $300/seat for upper deck corner seats. Glad it wasn’t me, but Vegas is Vegas for a reason and sports just adds to it. Even if Vegas isn’t my cup of tea.

That’s the sad part. It’s all this extracircular stuff that is still keeping the NFL relevant this season. Might as well be the WWE. If Mahomes and Reid don’t go on their little tirade over a 100% correct call, it would be a boring week in the NFL.

I think I can honestly say that watching those last 2 Vikings games was 2 of the worst Football games I’ve ever Watched.

Oh I don’t think anyone would disagree with you either.

The one positive is that the defense is so much better than expected. They’ve given up 1 touchdown the past 3 games combined.

Ivan Pace Jr could be a real stud at LB for years to come. Just imagine if Hicks and Pace are the linebackers of the future.

I would say the product that the NFL, NBA and MLB are presenting is crap. NBA is unwatchable, MLB has been for quite some time, and the NFL is right there now.

I’ve got other more time valuable things to do in my retired life to do that watch pro sports anymore.

I think the Vikings game against the Bears was the worst football game I have ever watched. Then they played Vegas and said “hold my beer”.

I thought the exact same thing. Painful is the best word to describe it. Its a bit hard to be a Viking Fan these days. That said. Next year all of us will start out the season with high hopes and say ” Maybe this will be the Year ” Minnesota Fans seem to have short memories and seem to get over a Poor, or so so season rather quickly.

Nick Mullens is the declared starter at QB against the Bengals on Saturday. Cincy is favored by 3 points. Their record is also 7-6.

Sounds like JJ is gonna play.

Vegas is a complete unicorn of a situation for football, and I mean that in a good way. They have a fan base, sure, but it’s gotta be close to, if not the #1 away game fans will circle if they’re going to try and make a game. Ever been to Vegas on an NFL Sunday? You’ll likely see jerseys of every NFL team there. Sports betting going on like crazy, football on every screen everywhere, it’s a lot of fun. Just not sure if there’s a reason or logic behind what you’re saying or if calling Vegas a “dumb place to play football” just means that you don’t like it.

Bears fan here. Rest of NFC North is tanking and we’re starting to peak. Super Bowl here we come AND we’ll still have the first pick in the draft. Go Bears!!!

Going to need a LOT of help to get in at 9-8 (best case scenario). I was a little disappointed as I was hoping the Bears would be the first team to have the 1st 2 picks in the draft. Will be interesting to see what they do at QB, supposedly great QB draft that they are in control of, but Fields has another year and most Bears fans still think he *could* be the guy.

I think the Vikings beat the Bengals fairly easily this weekend. Jake Browning had a good game with 1/1.5 read throws, but that shouldn’t happen again. If the O/U is over 20, I’m going under on this one lol, if I were a betting man. Which I am not.

    The over/under is 40.5

I don’t like betting over/under, but I think it’s going to take a special teams or defensive score to get to 41 points in this one.

Mattison and O’Neil have been declared OUT for Saturday’s game in Cincy. JJ is questionable, but looks like he’ll play.

People have been asking for more of Ty Chandler. Looks like we’ll get to see that this week.

Hicks is 31 years old, so take what you can the next couple years but he is not a part of any long term plans.
