I think you were kinda right. They have the Bears coming so Morgan can imitate a guy who isn’t a NFL starting quarterback.

Lol Fields looked pretty good again last night. 4 touchdowns and no turnovers with a convincing road win. Defenses are keying in on his running ability so he’s throwing it more. DJ Moore had a monster night too.

Just another in a long line of Ohio State quarterbacks who are vastly overrated because the other 10 guys on offense are so good.

Lets not consider Washington a good team. They are another Chicago.

So sloppy with the ball. At this point its 100% on the coach because it still hasn’t been addressed.

I agree, coach either isn’t addressing it..or doesn’t know how to. Pretty ridiculous!

Did he say that? Hockenson and Mattison have both fumbled multiple times this season and they’re both playing.

They gave them all they had. They never could slow that KC pass rush and with no timeouts left…………

I believe that since it was 4th down, taking the helmet off would have been a penalty enforced after change of possession. It would not have kept the ball with the Vikings.

Although he’s paid like it, Hockenson sure isn’t Kelce. Seems several balls have gone right off his hands the last couple games. Not saying they were easy catches, but if we think he’s worth that money…

not at that point…….there was a flag thrown….no change of possesion at that point……should of been a penalty!!!!

I didn’t really think that was a penalty to be honest. Refs throw the flag all the time, have a conference, and then pick up the flag. I do believe the Chiefs defender should have been flagged for taking off his helmet, and they should have been assessed half the distance to the goal.

Regardless, they’re now 0-4 in one possession games this season. O’Connell isn’t doing a very good job either. He obviously still hasn’t addressed the turnovers and his game management when it comes to time out usage and challenges is poor.

IMO the only way that wasnt a pass interefernce is if the ball was not catchable. the guy was clutching the reciever!!!!!

It’s hard to watch. Hockensen has had a lot of drops lately. Between the drops and fumbling it sure seems like a lack of discipline

OMG standings have the Vikings below Chicago. Chicago has scored more points this season than the Vikings. Never would have guessed that.

Hockensen has seemed like a very likeable guy during his time in purple and overall has played fairly well. However, he’s about to be the picture that pops up whenever someone Google’s “talk is cheap.” Whether it was 100% him, 100% his agent, or a combination of the two, the statements made over the summer about wanting to reset the tight end market and be paid as the top tight end make a guy fall even harder when they’re backed up with the drops he’s had-several today and others earlier this season. He’s not the only reason they lost today and he’s not the reason they’re 1-4, but man that’s a good way to turn a fanbase against you when you run your mouth and don’t back it up.

Honestly I can’t put fumbles on the coach. Guys have been playing football there whole life. He is not coaching guys to carry a football some new way or anything. I can’t imagine he is not coaching like every football coach ever to cover up the ball in traffic.

I agree with that. Ball security is such a fundamental thing that there’s not going to much you can do and/or fix from a coaching perspective to make a fix mid-season. Second week of August in training camp? Sure, spend a day on it and hammer the guys on it.

I’m not saying nothing about these losses is on KOC, the clock management and wasting of timeouts is hurting them. I just don’t think it’s fair to put hardly any fumble blame on him. I’d actually say good for him for addressing it head-on before the Charlotte game, although I would hesitate to say if you put the ball on the ground you might be replaced because that’s obviously not going to happen with Kirk, JJ, TJ, etc.

There are a lot of strange people in this world that is for sure. A group of us neighbors all went to a Twins gave several years ago. The one wore an Orioles jersey. The Twins played Cleveland. He’s from ND so he’s obviously weird, but I asked WTF was he doing? Its like going to a Metallica concert and wear a Nickelback T-shirt.

They simply are not a good team. Their coaching is poor at best. Neither team played well, but the better team won in the end. The NFL needs to really look at the whole Pass interference thing. To be honest I don’t understand how more teams don’t take advantage of it. You could have Jefferson run a sideline pattern and have Cousins just throw the ball to the inside of the field and have Jefferson just make like he’s turning toward the ball and if he makes contact with the defender he will get the call 100% of the time. Receivers just have so much of a advantage these days.

I thought KC got some calls to go their way. Kelce was not down with ball secure. It was moving the whole time.

Having said that the Vikings put themselves in a hole and just aren’t very good.

Kirk is not the problem but he’s not the answer either. Time to rebuild, go young, draft a QB and build up the lines. Stick a fork in these guys.

I agree, we need to build up lines and a 40 million dollar quarter back does not help that. I would like to see us trade Kirk to the jets for some draft picks and their young qb (even though he is not great).

Rodgers made a living off this for decades. It happened once in yesterdays game in our favor and I said they need to do more of that except I think this wasnt intentional but Rodgers usually was.
