Kk and Gus back tonight. Hopefully they are not forcing an early return. We’ve seen kirill do this before.

Uggg, so they revert back to the Kk, Zuccy, Hartman line…

    That’s a Deano way of thinking…

at least Freddy finally demoted to the 4th…

Maybe that means it is a BG way of thinking

    I’m lucky.
SCI Broadband has an issue for me tonight. Both the normal & HiDef Bally feeds have a black screen.
    Oh well…….

Four more Canucks and three more Maple Leafs added to the all star roster. Whole lot of Canadian representation this time around.

This makes Wallstedt’s game easier to accept… Marty Brodeur in his prime would give up 5+ with this team playing in front of him…

I’ll say this about the losing/tanking teams, its brutal for their passionate fansbases…

I really feel sorry for fanbases of the teams that have been bad for a long time…

As a Wild fan this is brutal and its only been 1/2 a season!!!

15 of their next 17 games are against good teams (Ducks and Blackhawks are the 2 easy games). This team likely doesn’t need to purposely tank, the schedule might do it for them…

They do have their 10 day “bye week” sort of in the middle of that stretch, maybe that could change things?

Well you guys that watched on TV really missed out last night. Let me tell you about the live fan experience.

First off, what a treat it was walking to the game last night in -378 wind-chill after getting hit up an extra $5 for park due to a ripoff event fee being in place at a ramp that’s normally hourly.

But thank goodness we fought through it, because we got to see rising superstar Nick Bjugstadt score the How-You-Like-Me-Now hat trick after not scoring a goal on the past 19 games.

And for those of you who thought you’d never miss Dumba because he was so error prone, well, we got treated to another Merrill defensive hockey clinic last night. Yeah. It was even more awesome live. Granted the res of the D was so bad that Merrill didn’t look especially bad, just below average bad.

The Wild’s ability to leave a trailing player uncovered is just amazing. And by amazing, I mean painful.

Have to say, this was the collapse I really expected to happen last season. Oh well, I got the free stocking hat last night. Awesome.

Has a team ever fired two coaches in the same season? whistling

Glad we have Peacock so I could watch football. Kept checking the Wild score on my phone. Almost every time I checked, it got worse. rotflol

If you didn’t expect a drop off after the new coach “honeymoon” you’ve never watched a bad team go through a coaching change midseason. Not everyone can be the St Louis Blues from a few years ago. A bad team is a bad team, and most of the time a coaching change doesn’t fix that. Throw in all the key injuries we’ve had on top of that and it’s pretty tough to get a bunch of wins lined up.

and nothing gets easier from an opponent perspective until March when we get multiple games against the Ducks, Sharks and Blues…

We take our medicine this season…

Grouse, I was at that game as well.
You really shouldn’t super coat it like that. People might get the idea that the Wild were competitive in that game for more then the first shift.
I was fortunate enough to sit on the end that the Wild are supposed to shoot at for 2 periods.
Saw very little of the game from up close.

I did refuse to boo them though because at this point they need to lose for the draft.
I don’t want to encourage them.
The best thing they can do is lose now, they won’t make the playoffs and if by some miracle they do, it’ll be a bloodbath.

Love how GMBG has his first press conference in weeks just 15 minutes before puck drop today, I suspect he wont have much time for questions due to the game starting…

Well, now we can see if this team really still has something. Finally mostly healthy again. The D and breakout should be exponentially better with the guys they are playing now.

GMBG press conference update sure sounded like Spurgeon was likely due for a surgery that will end his season…

Different team with Merrell and Goose off the ice and Brodin on it. Hunt looks like he’s getting better. Like the lines and pairings.

Nothing like playing the Islanders. Pretty sure they got the goalies out of their funk earlier in the year as well.
