This game might be the end of Goose. He’s been horrendous even for him.

Heck of a deflating way to end that 3rd period. Why didn’t Dewar tuck it under Flowers leg instead of fumble f’ing around with it. And ya, Goose sucks.

Well that was fun… what a game by Flower.

Faber finished with 30:19 of icetime, 2 Assists and +2… is that good?

these re the kind of games that we haven’t sen for the most part this year…. back in nov. they would just lie over and die. I love the intensity.

Most fight out of the team all year. Heck of a fun game. Ek settling that puck down cool as a cucumber and laying it out perfectly. Then KK burying it. Priceless!

Man they needed that. Hopefully this pulls Kirill out of his funk. Great game yes, but much better with the win.

GMBG is only on chapter 2 of his Salary Cap for Dummies book and now needs to figure out how to get a replacement for Leterri…

KK looked like he wanted to talk a little trash to the bench after the OT winner.

KK is broke. Ek and Boldy need a different line mate till KK figures his dirty diaper out.

Well, that didn’t age well, did it?

I blame that goal on Grouse coffee

What because of yet another broken stick on a penalty kill?

Leterri walked by Hynes post game interview and sounded like he said he was fine so hopefully BG won’t have to get too creative.

Amazing how getting a few big saves from your 50 year old goalie can get a team emotionally invested again

Precisely. Thanks for the OT excitement

They have all the cap space in the world to call up whoever they want with Brodin on LTIR. Just need to get someone from Milwaukee to Montreal by Thursday if Letteiri can’t go.

If Spurgeon can go on Thursday they should throw Midstrom at forward. He spent more time below the dots than most of the forwards in the 3rd period

Middleton in 3-3 OT was kinda scary as he wasn’t playing it safe at all! …but I get there are no better options (at least they didn’t put Goose out there)

I dont like how Hynes uses Freddy over Rossi in OT as well…
Freddy was a trainwreck most of the game (he did have the nice PP assist though, but after watching it again it wasn’t a fake, he almost passed it into the empty corner by mistake) especially in OT where he couldn’t make a 5’ breakout pass that lead to a good Bruins scoring chance and then raised his hand saying my bad afterwards….I get they don’t have other center options, but its gotta be just brutal for him to watch game tape back and see how soft he plays… he needs to be put on the 4th line for the next 4 years, maybe next year Marat pushes him down…

is Boston Bruins TV Announcer Jack Edwards ok? I watched the NHL.com game recap and it used the Boston TV feed and Jack Edwards was sort of slurring his words and seemed to be speaking a 1/2 second slow…reading some of the youtube comments mentioned he possibly had a stroke recently and kept it private? Sad if true (after listening to the entire video its gotta be true)

I searched online about this and while nothing official has been announced (one suspect site said he had prostate cancer but is now in remission) Bruins fans have been asking alot of questions…

Watch the Marchand goal with Lapanta’s PxP and then the same clip with Jack’s PxP. Something is definitely not right medically and I hope for the best for him. I noticed it watching some Bruins games earlier this year he basically just says players’ names and that’s about it. Unfortunately it reminds me of Barry Melrose the last couple years but in a much more exposing role.

That was an FU game by Flower last night for not playing him the night before even though he has said before he does not like playing in PItt.
I just hope they dont wear Faber down before the end of the season.

One game where KK finally gets what his 4th 5 on 5 goal in 30 games doesn’t mean KK is back. The first goal surprised he actually didn’t send the puck 2′ over the crossbar with how terrible his shootinghas been so far this season. That net was wide open on his first 5 on 5 goal in what 6 games? The ot goal was a perfect setup from Ek. Both great goals, but were no excuse opportunities. He’s had some grade A chances and hasn’t been able to put a puck on net or drills it right into the net minders chest. Like the effort and work ethic of KK, but he’s still not 100% himself through 3 periods. Boldy and Ek have been carrying that line. KK has been a turnover machine 30 games in. Hoping this game can be a turning point, but he needs to be way more consistent night in and night out. Yeah, he’s a fun player to watch who works hard and even on a bad year he’s still getting assists but his 5 on 5 production has been subpar. Combine that with his turnovers and he’s having a rough year. Ek is at 14 goals at a +10, Rossi has 8 goals with a +6 and Hartman has 9 with a +2. KK’s at 10 with a -3. Boldy has had a horrible year and is at 8 goals with a +4. KK needs to clean up his turnovers and get more consistent. Hopefully his funk is over, but time will tell. Hoping he goes on a bender and gets his mojo back.
