I don’t know, to me that sounded a bit strange…
I thought so too. For everything Dean did to protect or keep him in good spots and to say that to him seems really odd.

I actually thought the Freddy text is what was strange…seemed way too personal to me…strange for a coach/player relationship…
Freddy’s a strange dude, I mean he is French. But still that was weird, and kinda weird that Dean told Russo too.
I finally read the article and Deano was pretty candid talking about his former players the day after he got fired. I was so hoping for a question about Parise and Suter, I think Deano was a big part in the buyout. He took the friction that was already there and made fire.

Everything going the Wild’s way so far. Made Burnett pay for that challenge, which is exactly the type of BS matter of millimeters off side challenge that I hate.
Man I wish they would eliminate all of this crap with video review guys feeding info to the coaches on what to challenge. Sure, let the coaches challenge it in real time. If they think they saw off side at full speed just like the refs see it, yeah let them challenge it. But this crap where they have a video guy micro dissecting the video replay while play is going on and telling the coaches what to challenge is a bunch of crap. All so they should have to raise a challenge flag before the puck comes out of the zone or before a goal is scored. Otherwise it should be too late to challenge it.

Yep, he had 2 refs holding him in round 2 of that scrum and he had zero issue pushing both of them back.

He probably can’t scrap but he is a strong SOB and would love to see him lose his mind one time.
Still don’t understand how there were equal penalties after that but since we’re winning I won’t complain too much.

So just reading about the Corey Perry situation and finally enough information trickles out to get an idea of what happened.
Sounding like Perry went on a bender when Chicago was in Columbus and had some kind of serious altercation with one or more members of the Blackhawks team staff.
I’m sure now there will be thousands of internet meme artists issuing heartfelt apologies to Connor Bedard and his mom.
Is this a short-term bounce? It’s crazy to me that the team can look THIS different with a coaching change.
