On the bright side. No PP goals allowed.

GusBus played well, too bad the 1 goal he gave up was due to a youth hockey level line change mistake…

    Fun game.

No clue how BG and the coaching staff deals with Zuc, KK and now Boldy playing some of the worst hockey I’ve ever seen out of all 3. They just look lost and disjointed. Watching Faber flourish is fun. Feel like we are watching a future dominant defenseman. Then equally as frustrating is watching the other 3 flounder. They are brutal to watch currently.

I think BG has done a good job, especially with what he had to work with. But I agree on the comments I don’t like the recent contracts he gave out to the mediocre vets.

Somebody better step up and start leading this team before it’s too late.

Definitely some positives, mainly goaltending, but man this team is just allergic to winning right now. Chances to win it with the PP but I think that group has hit rock bottom… again.

We’ll find out if yesterday’s PK success was just a fluke or not this morning… This is a game where Boldy has to show some signs that he’s still alive, Toronto will score, but also give up tons of scoring chances against, guys need to start burying chances…

I got a feeling Rossi and Kirill start clicking together today…

Anybody pick Merrill for the first goal of the game? Me neither.

    Sure hope so!

I got a gut feeling we are going to see something a bit different.

First game I’ve seen KK’s hips look fluid all year.

Nice effort by Deano’s boy on that PK, loses the draw clean and then lets his guy skate right to the crease untouched and score…

Well the tide has officially turned here. A 1-0 lead and outshooting the Leafs 10-2 has now gone to 1-1 and shots 12-10. shock

Another brutal D effort by Freddy leads to a goal by his responsibility… They should have kept him on IR

This 7am game sucks. Too early Rossi and Faber have been their best players and that is pathetic.

Fun watching those 2. I’m about done with KK and Zuc. Hopefully they prove me wrong on the PP.

Another PP. Whats the over under on how many turnovers, bad passes, missed opportunities and wiff’s from Zuc and KK?

Kirill and Boldy are supposed to be our best players and they are MIA. Plenty of blame to go around but we need more from those two.

Pretty good effort against a good team, love to see the 3rd period comeback. This team still just absolutely hates winning and refuses to do it

I agree, Toronto is a cup contender loaded with talent. A point against them is a moral victory.

Maybe this will be a turning point in the season. Guess we’ll see.

I’ll echo what has already been stated here. KK and Boldy need to be a lot better. KK had a couple of glorious chances right in front of the net today and didn’t bury them. Boldy, well, he’s mostly a phantom out there.

Freddy (who had a brutal game) gets an OT shift before Rossi does? Deano is a moron… nice defensive effort by Jojo in OT on Nylander… this team has so many problems where do you even start…

Not sure what you mean. Deno’s new strategy is called “The best offense is to have the defense score all the goals.”. Who needs scoring from butt clowns like Kaprisov and Body when you’ve got pure goal scorers like Merrill and Middleton?

    Jojo. WTF.

seeing lots of online disgust with Marcus Johannson’s and how his contract is a bust…seriously? He signed a $2 x 2 deal…that’s a 4th liner contract…He could get bought out for next to nothing next year if its truly needed…JoJo is the least of our longterm worries…

Completely agree that 2×2 for an average middle 6 forward is nothing to complain about. People just mad because playing with Boldy didn’t magically turn him into a PPG player like we were hoping. Jojo is exactly who has been his whole career. He had a 20 game heater after the deadline last year and apparently fans were expecting that to be his new normal at age 33.
