Another great game by Jesper Wallstedt last night in a Iowa Wild road win…

I have a feeling that we are going to spend a lot of time this season taking about Iowa and the future Wild teams that might be.

About the only positive I could come up with from last night’s game is at least our decision deal Greenway out of here was a sound one.

I’m going back to the Islanders game I’m surprised there were no comments on who was missing from the Islanders. No Parise. So apparently he’s not officially retired but it seems like he’s out of gas. Interesting to think about where that would have left the Wild had he still been on the roster here.

No love for stonehands winning 19 of 23 draws? I mean it was just last year that we had like 12 pages devoted to how bad we were on faceoffs.

Schedule of late has been pretty brutal. It starts to soften a bit at the end of the month into December. Playing slightly better D of late but they really need to clamp down here soon.

    Great. Awesome. Love it.

We also scored on the PP, which I think last year we spent 436 pages discussing.

So to recap, we’re 2-5-1 in the last 8, 5-7-2 overall.

Insert “it’s still early” line here.

he had a great faceoff game for sure, but he’s typically in the upper 40% range, last night’s game did bump him upto 51.6% for tbe season sofar (The best NHL faceoff guys are usually in the 55-60% range) Overall he’s been improving every year so that’s a good sign, sure was nice to win all of those draws at the end of the game to keep giving us chances to tie it up, just a fraction of the pipe away…

For all the talk about Kirill’s “bad start” He’s ahead of the point pace after 14 games he had in 2 of his first 3 season, just below last years 16 points in his first 14 games.

he’s always been a slow starter, expect him to take off soon…

Jesper Wallstedt with another shutout last night… He has a .932 save % for the season!

Dodged a bullet there…Thanks Toronto for offering more term than the Wild did….

In 14 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Ryan Reaves has 0 goals, 0 assists, 12 penalty minutes and is minus-11.

Would be hilarious if Daryle Sutter ends up coaching the Oilers…

Yeah that would be a good one. Man would that be an admission that things are beyond bad. Granted things are so bad in Edmonton right now the fans would probably have voluntary amnesia. Sutter? Is he a Calgary guy?

Bruce Boudreau is also available and I have a feeling he’d love the opportunity to run up the score on Vancouver once or twice.

Bogo adds size and cup experience that we lack but have not been impressed by him yet. Seems like another Merrill.

At the game so sloppy so far. Terrible pass that lead to a weak goal. Think my 7 year old shoots harder.

I think the wild have been outscored in the first 85-2 so far this season.

I haven’t watched this team for about 5 games. I see that nothing has changed. Atrocious defense and still allowing 5 goals each game. coffee

The scary thing is that Dallas should have 4-5 more goals but Flower has been strong…

5 freaking power play goals given up. Our PK just plain sucks donkeys. 4 guys with their backs turned on Robertson…

Now Fluery takes out a player on a breakaway. Fantastic.

If Yeo had to go, is it now Deano no Bueno?

This is coaching. Dean-O needs to go. He’s utterly clueless. He’s stuck in a rut and can’t see the forest through the trees. To many things that can be fixed, or at least worked are completely ignored. Might be time for Darby to be gone as well.

at some point our PK coach has to be fired, obviously you can’t fire the players and there needs to be some type of actual change the team/players can point to, cant keep this going as-is…

Team has been atrocious but outside of a breakaway save he has not been strong…
