I love that as much for Vinny as I do sweet lou!

This looks like a wild game. Tight gritty defense and the offense taking advantage of mistakes. Maroon is far exceeding my expectations. I knew he WAS a good player but I wasn’t expecting this much production from him.
How good does the Big Rig pickup look for GMBG….
Deano benches Boldy on the PP and rightfully so, he’s been a turnover machine tonight…
Its been fun listening to Lou Nanne try to say Kirill all night… he just cant get it out…
Boys have had a couple of good, gritty wins. I like what I’m seeing.

Just what the Wild needed a terrible offensive team to play against.

Certainly not missing Reavo.
Best 60 minutes I’ve seen them play all year!
Flower was good.
Ek, come on, what a game.
Maroon is way, way better than I thought he’d be.
4th line did better.
KK needs to protect the puck a bit more and it’ll come.
Happy Dean is FINALLY willing to change stuff up and stick to those changes. Hope he can continue to adjust when needed.

You’re not wrong.
I am amazed at the difference in play that Rossi has.
He looks like a completely different player from last year.
Playing with so much confidence now.
And Faber looks like a veteran defenseman. If doesn’t look like a rookie.

Both Rossi and Faber look fantastic! I think Rossi might have had the most ice time for forwards and I am pretty sure Faber did for D. Pretty impressive for a couple rookies.
Amazing what killing penalties, scoring a PP goal, and getting a few saves will do. I don’t think the Wild played great at all, I mean they were ok and it’s awesome they got the W but NYI are not anything special and definitely not a fun team to watch.

Haha exactly… terrible team to watch too

It’s really black and white with Rossi isn’t it, he’s looking so good this year since game 1. This is the player we were all expecting last year, buddy just needed 1 more year of development.

I was not ready for this at all, he’s been unreal!
Eriksson Ek and Maroon was not the dynamic duo I was expecting but they had a couple beauties last night. Stonehands sauced that pass over the base of the net to create the lane!
Addison to the Sharks for a 5th. Seems like a waste but I guess that’s what you’d probably get realistically. Is this to free up some cap room?
Must mean they’ve liked enough of what they’ve seen from Mermis and Hunt and that Spurgeon has to be close.
I don’t get to watch many weekday games unless they’re playing out west.
Did we run 5 forwards again last night on the power play? Or back to the usual?

My guess is that Spurgeon is ready. Goligoski is probably close. Faber is rock solid. Mermis and Hunt haven’t looked overwhelmed.
He wasn’t going to get resigned again anyway.
Just saw that Russo thinks another trade is coming.

What the? This is not supposed to be happening middle of day right now when I have to work.
Addy was a square peg in a round hole on this team.
Doubt he flourishes in San Jose as they are terrible but he will get much needed playing time out west.
I am sad

This is exactly what fans say when their team makes a bad trade.

Obviously my opinion of Addison is way off compared to what GMs think of him but I always thought he was a perfect trade comparison to Ty Smith or Rasmus Sandin. Both young offensive unproven D-men traded for valuable players or picks.
Yeah a 2026 fifth. That’s like a bag a pucks and a couple sticks.
Has to be for the cap flexibility right now.
I thought they would get more value for him, but it just goes to show how tough it is to trade salary away with none coming back…You gotta think GMBG is looking for a big & physical D to replace him with…
Addison had no future here, especially with all the D prospects cooking in Iowa…
Just saw that Russo thinks another trade is coming.
They have 1 healthy right shot D, and none in Iowa. And they keep talking about leadership problems.
Is Billy G bringing Dumba home?

We did with the first unit.
This site is an absolute dumpster fire for me today. I cannot get it to load AT ALL on my phone. My PC it takes forever and I get those stupid errors. I would have been first on the news but couldnt post. GRRR figure it out!
If I was GMBG I’d get Montreal on the phone and see if they would part with one of thier current big young RFA defenseman like Guhle, Barron or Xhakaj knowing they need room for Lane Hutson & David Reinbacher coming next year… Hoping a return of something like Beckman, Duhaime and a mid-round round pick would be enough, but I doubt it…
Good lord is Montreal ever loaded with young players & prospects…

It’s been brutal for me all week. Half of the pages I click to time out after a minute or two and don’t ever load.

Been doing exactly this a couple weeks for me, this site has serious issues. Feels like the end may be near.
Mahto better edit your post to give Musky credit for being first on it… like the insiders do on Twitter X
In overseas prospect news, Danila Yurov played 2C today, played 14 minutes, had 2 assists and went 6/10 on faceoffs…Marat K continues to play 2C with Mitchkov and typically get a point every other game, Liam Ogren is practicing again and should play soon….
