he’s got the same points as Rossi does this game ;)

He’s also playing with the hottest scorer in the league right now… Kirill is play 4D chess out there doing whatever he wants to with the puck, but its also the Ducks….

Foligno missed Marat for a likely backdoor tap-in goal…

    Pi$$missile.cam win faceoffs!

Lol at the fans cheering hard on his first 2 wins, you gotta love it. Saw he had 4 blocks as well and noticed he definitely likes to get in on the forcheck. Not much offense but nice debut overall waytogo

    Vegas L yay

Marat looked so nervous when he had the puck with room to skate, he immediately dished it off to wingers… I liked his forecheck game (what he’s known for) the offensive side will show when he gets comfortable… cool Hartman gave him the Viking helmet…

He’ll fit a need this team lost with Dewar and Duhaime with hopefully more offense production… funny how he has a very similar skating stride as Kaprizov (arms hang low swinging back and forth)

Fun to finally see him in Wild green! Bring on Yurov!

If BG can somehow get Yurov over here now that would really be something. Russo talked that it still might happen yesterday on PAs show.

4 points behind Vegas and LA right now. VGK has a game in hand, LAK has 2.

all of the happy press Marat is getting might help his decision making if its a comfort issue driving his decision…

Great fun to hear the fans reaction to Marat last night when his line came out for their first shift. His first 2 faceoff wins were clean and he got a nice cheer.

But overall the Wild looked lackluster and we’re just not finishing. Basically another game of making a so-so team look good. They were playing rope-a-dope with the Ducks in the third with long possessions in the O zone and came away with nothing. Good thing that offside challenge wiped out the ducks goal or it would have been uncomfortably close.

We need secondary scoring. KK can’t be expected to do everything.

But he will gladly do it which he has been. Boldy went on a stretch too recently where he was scoring a lot. We need Rossi, Hartman, and god forbid JoJo to actually do something. I dont worry about the other two, but JoJo is just a mess. We cant count on Freddy either.

We know how this ends. In another embarrassing R1 playoff exit after game 5.

So what. I want more hockey and if that means only 5 playoff games I dont care. There is no chance they are tanking and that does nothing for them anyway. If they miss out on 4 pts the rest of the year we wont have to worry about playoffs anyway. They have an uphill climb.

I am now simply cheering for them to knock Vegas out of the playoffs. I don’t even dislike Vegas, just think it would be really funny. If they could pull that off, the Wild are instantly America’s Team.

Play Vegas twice still. Good chance it comes down to who wins those games.

Could’ve gone worse I guess. We kinda stole a point there.

Johansson makes me sigh every time he hops on the ice

Every player on both teams made me sigh in that game. Aside from Rossi Zuccy Kaprizov that was just an awful NHL game to watch, sloppy from start to finish with no pace at all. Agree they were damn lucky to come away with a point

Watching the Oilers Avs game now and the difference is comical

Need Basseyes thoughts on Boldy after that one jester

I’ve been desensitized to how bad he is after watching him get so much ice time but last night he was alarmingly bad.

I just watched the replay (was on a plane during the game) it looked like the Wild players are just waiting for Kirill do something now…Nice flyby by Middleton to start the 3rd, how many times has he done that now? I saw Jojo was on the pk a few times and when Paranyko was teeing up a shot, Jojo actually made himself less of a target to block the shot, just comical and a HUGE miss by Hynes having him out there…

What’s the no shootout goal streak for Kirill unto now? 15 in a row? I think Freddy stick handling himself into the corner sums up his season perfectly…

Binner and Flower looked phenominal…I’m a huge Binner hater, but he’s been playing mostly lights out this season, especially lately…

Anthony made some comment that Hynes doesn’t know about Freddy being a shootout specialist because he wasn’t coaching him last year. Darby was around. I wonder if he got through to Hynes to pick him 4th. Probably the last time Freddy will be picked this year by Hynes.

Dumb comment by Anthony. I am sure Hynes is aware of everyone’s career shootout percentage.

The team as a whole has been awful in shootouts this season.

Couldn’t agree more, rough game to watch.

Boldy going 5 hole on the shootout was impressive.

Boldy falling down when nobody was within 10 stick lengths of him was even more impressive. That takes a unique skill set.

Jojo is a one trick pony. He can enter the zone. Once there he needs to pass the puck and get off the ice cause he’s pretty much useless past zone entry’s.

That’s what I was thinking about 3 games ago. Just looks like everybody is looking for Krill to score the goals. Even Rossi looked like he was trying to go back to KK and he only shot and scored because he realized he was absolutely cut off from the pass.

I think Freddy stick-handling himself into the corner sums up his season perfectly…

Yep, the perfect statement that the Wild players are on the golf course already. Been working hard on the shootout moves lately, Freddy?

Well, I guess the Billy Gee Wiz Never Say Die’ers are still in business. If Vegas loses every game and doesn’t go to overtime and the Wild…
