And a whopping 176lbs…Basically the same dimensions as Goose.
#pissmissle.
Or Connor Bedard. Okay, Connor is listed an inch shorter and 9lbs heavier.

Marat is rotating in for Ek at morning skate. That would be a fun line.
I’m sure some of that is do to being able to have KK talk him through the practice and concepts.
Looks like Johansson is back and Beckman is out… grab your pitchforks
I think expectations are a little high for 22. He’s fast though, so everyone will love him right away
I don’t have very high expectations for him but excited to see him play.
OK Fun #1C is not high expectations ??
What would high expectations look like
I just mean I don’t have high expectations for him this year. Want to actually see him play to form a real expectation.
Rossi Hartman and Zucc have been playing well lately. Lots of chances those three have created for each other including at least two Hartman needs back.
Really like rossi’s battle the last few weeks. Totally different than last year.
The wild have been doing they’re best to make this garbage goalie look like hes brodeur!
Just saw the Ek replay… looked like a ACL injury to me, hopefully just a sprain… Vegas with a huge OT comeback win…
If you ever thought the NHL wasnt trying to just gift the Calder to Bedard youd be wrong. He is mic’d up nearly every game and of course last night he goes off for 5 pts. He probably deserves it, but no other rookie gets this kind of attention.
Bedard has 8 points in his last 2 games, 10 in last 4. They’re not gifting the kid anything, he’s taking it. The last 18 year old rookie to score at a higher pace was Sidney Crosby. McDavid’s rookie year had a slightly higher scoring pace but he was also 19, not 18.
There were kids playing in the State Tourney last week that are older than Bedard
I said he probably deserves it, but when have you ever seen a rookie mic’d up every game? I never have. I cannot even remember the last time a wild player was mic’d up period.
Everyone eats up the Bedard content so why not keep selling it? Yes he’s hyped up but he’s living up to it every step of the way so what’s the problem here. There’s 3 other 18 year olds to win the Calder and they’re either in or on the way to the Hall of Fame… Mackinnon, Hawerchuk, and Bobby Orr
Wild fans so jaded on Bedard and it’s embarrassing to be grouped in that

Jaded, hardly. Just pointing out the fact the NHL is massively pumping him up. He is damn good no doubt, but if they really want to grow the game they should be marketing other rookies too not just 1. Not everyone is a Hawk fan, but I can certainly appreciate his talent.
They’re marketing what sells, just look at jersey sales and no rookie is in the same universe as Bedard. Yeah not everyone is a Hawks fan but just about everyone is a Bedard fan, well outside of Minnesota anyway.
Kaprizov apparently still not on board with tanking for the 10th overall pick. Not a team player if you ask me
Eriksson Ek may have taken matters into his own hands last night though
The game Thursday is going to be awesome if it’s Marat’s debut. Can’t wait to see this live. Here’s hoping.
All of you Billy G “It’s never over” guys had better be holding a 24 hour vigil at the Shrine of Saint Ek. The way he went off, it looked bad.
This guy has become the player we always wanted him to be and then some and hardly says anything about it. With the number of non-producers the Wild have up and down the lineup, losing Ek would be the final nail in the proverbial Wild season coffin.
Last night I almost shut off the game. Nobody can make a bad team and goalie look good like the Wild. And can we please talk about Hartman some more? I think the announcers only spent a full period talking about him so that leaves two more periods when they could have been. It’s great that he buried one of the 4 or 5 grade a chances he had against the mighty Arizona defense, let’s hope he can score at least one more this season.
Yeah Hartman has been a complete no show all season but definitely had his chances last night. I think that will get him going now that he finally got one to go.

Or they will put him between boldy and kk if ek is out and he will go back to what he was the last season or two.
Hartman’s been a no show but somehow has more points than Rossi in 5 less games, less time on ice/game, playing lower in the lineup, and more PK than PP time?? Rossi does have more fights and PIMs though

He scored the previous game against Nashville.

Only his second best season point wise of his career. Pretty good for not showing up all year.
Yeah, somehow I’m thinking that a 37 point / 17 goal guy was not exactly what Billy Gee Wiz had in mind when he signed Hartman to a $4 million AAV extension with a NMC that has him locked up until the 26-27 season.
So yeah, great that he’s managed to roughly equal his second-best season and he’s on a massive 2 game scoring bender.
