    Two tags are legal in Iowa under the allowed restrictions etc.

    These were shot just a couple days apart.

    Hey Gimruis, The spurs were about an inch long, and enough to hang onto the top of the post. Some turkeys are referred to as “limbhangers” based on long spurs that allow them to be hung in tree’s. I just played around with it enough to get it to hang. Just a nice 2 yr old bird.

    Had this done to the turkey I shot this year. Turned out really cool. FW likes it better than hanging a tail and beard on the wall. The guy who does this places these feathers individually to make this. He does all sorts of birds that turn out really cool looking.

    can you PM me or let us know who does this work? We used to get some 3D mounts with the tails but the person that does them is not around any longer. I think that looks great.
