I cannot believe the disrespect the Vikings get. I dont necessarily think they are the best team in the NFC, but everyone is sleeping on them. Their games are sure a test for the cardiovascular system though.

Apparently, yes. Dallas is favored by 1 point in Minneapolis on Sunday. I can’t figure that out.

Lines are rarely determined by what they think will happen, but by what they think will bring in equal amounts of money on both sides.

Everything good in Cheeseland now that Watson blew up and ARodg looked like the multiple MVP he is?

I agree, let the Vikings be under dogs the rest of the season. Seems to be working out.

I feel better about finally cutting Amari rogers than either of the above. Rodgers and Watson could go back to being terrible next week but at least I know I’m done watching Amari muff and fumble punts!

Buffalo, NY is projected to get 4 feet of snow the next couple days here due to lake effect. There is a Bills home game on Sunday too against the Browns. That outta be interesting.

That will be crazy. I thought I saw earlier in the week they were supposed to get 3 feet on Sunday. That would be incredible playing conditions. Sorta like Tom Brady’s breakout game against the Raiders way back when.

…the game he should’ve actually lost?

It was just the beginning of a loooooonnnnnnnng career inflated by preferential treatment in the NFL propping him up.

That Vikings line against Dallas is likely designed to just get money on the table (as Big Werm already mentioned). Most betting lines are designed to either mirror the outcome as close as possible, or lure money onto the table. Rarely do those betting on a weekend full of NFL games stop at one bet. They find a specific bet they like, and then the dozen other games are too irresistible to not throw money down on also.

I’d say the Vikings win in a close one, and that there should be plenty of points scored.

    I’ll take the Vikings 30, Dallas 27.

Should have, could have and would have is loser talk. The Tuck Rule was correctly applied at that time. Go on and make the case of the preferential treatment for Brady, I’m sure his 7 rings and Crown of the GOAT don’t mind.

LOL nominated for preposterous statement of the year. If you cannot give him credit for what he has done throughout his career that’s really something. This comment coming from a Packer backer is even more rich considering the calls Erin gets.

I watched the documentary of the Tuck Rule with Tom Brady and Charles Woodson sitting down together and talking about it. It was pretty recent and on ESPN I believe.

You can still see the pain and disbelief on Woodson’s face when watching the play.

Having acknowledged that I do not believe Tom Brady had a long history of preferential treatment. Kinda like when they were accused of Deflate Gate and then Brady went on to win 3 MORE Super Bowls after that, LOL

Eagles are obviously pretty concerned about their run defense/injuries as they signed Linval Hungry Joseph and Suh. If those guys stay healthy they could be the difference in the playoffs.

I’m hearing now that the Browns-Bills game is being moved to Detroit on Sunday. Since the Bills play there on Thanksgiving anyways, it does kind of make sense.

Yeah there would be no way they could do that game in Buffalo. The good news is the Lions fans will able to actually see a good team for a change.

Might have been the dagger for the Packers with another loss tonight. Especially with the Eagles on tap next. Rodgers made some great throws, but also missed some easy ones. The D.Henry jump-throw for a TD was kinda cool.

I thought GB actually did a decent job of bottling up Henry’s runs. I think the longest run he had all night was only 9 yards. But they did feed him a lot because he finished with 28 attempts. He got loose on a screen pass too.

Clearly, the Titans game plan is to get an early lead and just pound the ball with King Henry. Everyone knows it too, and its very difficult to stop.

Big kudos to the Titans for having that play in their playbook, having it well-practiced, and calling it when they did. Everyone is expecting to need to stop the big train running hard to the end zone, what a great time for that play call.

Henry is such a beast, even on an average night he is the difference maker. The Packers were regularly hitting him at the line of scrimmage or just passed it, and he’d still fall forward for a gain of 3-4 yards, and then it’s 3rd and 2 and they can do whatever they want. Packers secondary was WAY too soft on some mediocre receivers and giving up those quick outs and slants for 5-15 yards whenever Tennessee wanted it seemed like. The supposedly great, Jaire Alexander also got caught sleeping right before the 2 minute warning which was the final nail in the coffin.

It’s funny how dependent NFL fans are of the last performance, seems everyone is jumping on the 49ers bandwagon now. Which is kind of understandable. But at the same time 3 of their 4 losses were to the Bears, Falcons and Broncos… whistling

I completely agree. Fans ride the rollercoasters for sure.

I will say that San Francisco has changed. Their loss to the Bears was with Lance, who definitely didn’t look like anything special in the limited snaps of his NFL career. 2 of their other losses were when injuries had peaked and before the addition of McCaffrey. The loss to KC was one-sided.

The 49ers, Eagles, and Vikings are 3 relative equals atop the NFC in my opinion. Everyone else is a measurable step behind them as things stand today. I will be shocked if a different team outside those 3 represents the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Always enjoy watching some football on Thanksgiving Day. I like that it’s always the same two teams, Detroit and Dallas playing. Just some warm memories of being at my Grandparents house as a kid I think. Should be a great day of eating and football tomorrow! Might shoot a few games of pool too. Then off for a pheasant hunt after that!

I think you could lump Dallas into that group too. Although the Eagles did beat them earlier, the Cowboys were playing Cooper Rush at the time. It will be tough for Dallas to catch the Eagles in that division now, but I believe they are equals on paper. Whoever does not win that division will be the top wild card seed.

I think the Cowboys/Giants game will decide the #2 team in that Division. I expect it will be a good hard-fought game.

Just don’t understand some NFL coaches.

Detroit is down by 3 and has 3rd and 1 (within field goal range) with about 30 seconds left. They loft a fade pass down the sideline that had about 1% chance of working. They settle for the field goal to tie the game, all the while leaving 30 some seconds left for Josh Allen to march down the field for the game winning field goal.

Why not run it and get the first down, I think they had 2 timeouts left and at least act like you’re going for the win.

I guess that’s why Detroit is Detroit….but you see this quite often…coaches thinking their pathetic defenses will hold a good QB at the end of games…

I really didn’t think the Giants were very good, even before today’s game. They hung in there in the first half but had no business being there in the second.

They have the toughest schedule remaining of any team. Wouldn’t surprise me if they completely missed the playoffs to be honest.

Except that the guy was wide open and even a decent pass puts them in the end zone or close to it. Detroit’s HC Campbell is all about changing the culture there, so I’m guessing he wanted to go for the dagger, and had it…until they didn’t. At some point Campbell is going to have to switch from risky all-in decisions to change the culture, to trying to and winning actual games.
