I think he’s 1/2 in the bag most nights… so that’s probably fueling them…again he provides great clip content though so I put up with it…I do laugh at them every now and then…

I havent watched the entire game yet, I cant stay up that late anymore for some reason, but found the clip on the Kulikov goal which as stated was started by a beauty stretch pass by Rask, but check out the between the legs tap pass by Kaprizov!
A quintessential one-touch pass from Kirill "The Thrill" Kaprizov! pic.twitter.com/gqNgMa8R59

December 8, 2021 at 2:39 pm #2080139we can’t give Rask any extra glory he didn’t earn Stretch pass was by Benn to Kapper with the sick between the legs touch pass to Kulikov…
I find it crazy that Kulikov took off out of the defensive zone like that! why would a defenseman do that up 3-1? He’s had some strange/questionable jumps up in the offensive zone the last 3 games that have ALL WORKED OUT, but if they didn’t, my gawd would those decisions have looked terrible!
Deano might need to sit him down and say, “I know I told you guys to feel free to jump up in the play, but dude you need to be f’ing careful!” lol
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22332December 8, 2021 at 2:57 pm #2080145Ah gotcha on Benn. Kulikov said in an interview that when he came here he was told he had free reign to jump into the play which is how he started his career but was tethered by recent teams. He’s got some speed for sure but it may not have been the best idea like you said.
I saw in that he lives in south Florida I wonder if that’s where Kaprizov crashed when he snuck over?tswobodaPosts: 8411December 8, 2021 at 3:14 pm #2080152I find it crazy that Kulikov took off out of the defensive zone like that! why would a defenseman do that up 3-1? Saw the play and was thinking “who is that?” and then “WTF is Kulikov doing catching a stretch pass?!?!”

CaptainMuskyPosts: 22332December 9, 2021 at 8:43 am #2080284Wonder if there will be any disciplinary action by Dept of Player Safety on that? Not going to hold my breath.
December 9, 2021 at 8:51 am #2080285Rossi played last night in Iowa’s shootout loss, still no word on Boldy’s injury yet?

No, I have been looking daily but nothing out there. Apparently Rossi’s injury was actually his neck. There was a German sports site that had referenced it. Translated to English it was a bit confusing because it also referenced “operation” but I dont believe any procedure was required/done.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22332December 9, 2021 at 12:21 pm #2080343We have 65 pages which is over half of last year’s total and we havent reached the midpoint of the season yet. Just wait when we hit the third round of the playoffs and are prepping our Stanley Cup parade route! Well done gentlemen!
December 9, 2021 at 12:38 pm #2080349I’m gonna start a Fiala is not a top 6 forward topic right now so he hopefully breaks through his funk and scores a few points in tonights Sharks matchup like Eker did the other night…

Haha I was thinking the same thing, and that parade is running from Warroad to Winona when it happens!

Dang straight! They better have an hour with the Cup for like 100 Towns with Youth Hockey Programs.

You’re right… he’s top 3.
Jim Rutherford hired as President and Interim GM in Vancouver so I think that answers the question as to whether guys like Miller and Horvat are available. I half expect their entire team to get traded before next season with JR running the show.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22332December 9, 2021 at 1:37 pm #2080365JR is going to be wheeling and dealing and lets see if we can fleece him for Miller like BG did for Addison.
Ice CapPosts: 2151December 9, 2021 at 2:38 pm #2080376Mason Shaw in tonight and Pitlick a healthy scratch? Color me confused at this one.

Pitlick has been invisible the last 3 games, took a lazy penalty early on against the Oilers that had Deano pi$$ed off…
Sounds like Spurgeon is back, but Dumba is out as well (sick – not covid related) so Merril and Benn play tonight…
December 9, 2021 at 3:16 pm #2080387Anybody see the bleepshow they have going in Arizona? City of Glendale notified the Coyotes that they would be locked out of Gila River Arena, due to delinquent tax bills and unpaid arena charges. The Coyotes owe state and local taxes and arena fees that date back to June 2020 and total $1.3 MILLION.
Coyotes management promptly blamed “human error” for the “oversight”. Wow. That’s some oversight. Also a little hard to believe 1 person was making this “error” since the city has been hounding the Coyotes to pay up for over a year now.
Apparently, the Coyotes paid up after the report surfaced, but come on NHL. This management group is a dumpster fire in the desert. Move ’em to Quebec already!
December 9, 2021 at 3:42 pm #2080391that Franchise needs to move out of Arizona, it’s been one gong show after the other out there!
December 9, 2021 at 3:57 pm #2080396Has there been any discussion about any team relocating in the NHL?
Ice CapPosts: 2151tswobodaPosts: 8411December 9, 2021 at 7:22 pm #2080426Has there been any discussion about any team relocating in the NHL?
Rumors of moving to Houston for a few years now. Lots of fans always saying they should move to Quebec City.
The reality is the new ownership group is a circus. They’ve only owned them a few years and already have a reputation for not paying bills and strong arming vendors into forgiving debts. Sounds like they treat employees like dirt too. There have been multiple issues like this that make ownership look like a bunch of scoundrels.
December 9, 2021 at 9:36 pm #2080454Anyone streaming this? I can’t get the stream to open. Says I’m not entitled to it our there’s an issue.
December 9, 2021 at 9:47 pm #2080466If it’s working for Khulikov, I’m thinking Fiala needs to start using Rask’s stick.
