Yeah nobody is sniping much of anything so far this year. The highlight reel goal so far this year probably and ironically belongs to Fiala on that backhanded bat in the top of the net at Arizona.

If he heats up and KK stays on his current trajectory anything is possible for this team.

Completely off topic – anybody know why the warmup nets used for Wild games have what appears to be black fabric padding on the bottom foot of the posts? Is it to eliminate wicked deflections with so many players shooting at once? Maybe its something totally obvious I’m not thinking of???

I don’t remember seeing that before, but its been a few years since I watched a game in person…

Hartman’s about the only one picking corners…

Don’t forget that last goal by Bjugstad was quite a snipe.

Perhaps to keep the goalies skates from getting all dinged up before the game? Its a PITA to take them off with all the pads on.

Pretty sure they just swap the steel… But yeah protecting the goalie skates is the first thing I thought of too.

i’d guess his finger nails were smashed to all $hit…no bone breaks though or he’d be out longer….

Yeah he mangled his finger good. There was at least one good cut.
Back in high school I was checked and literally pinched my finger between the ice and stick. It put so much pressure on my finger the side of it just split open like a cut, but more or less exploded. Hurt like hell.
As long as he can do the Adam Banks test and hold the stick he should be good to go tonight.

I am up against the glass tonight should be a fun one. Maybe I should have made a let’s go IDO sign. jester

I woke up… and the pain was gone

Had a buddy in college that got a pressure cut like that between his index and middle finger. When he took his glove off it literally looked like his hand was going to separate into 2 pieces. Tons a stitches and a huge scar. I was thinking maybe Zuccy had something like that happen.

Yeah mine was on my pointer finger basically the length of it down the whole outside. There was little chunks of stuff hanging out. Wasn’t pretty. Showed my coach and he almost puked. Let’s just say the high school aid girl on our bench wasn’t really prepared to deal with it.

The Blackhawks have filed a motion to have the Beach case thrown out due to statute of limitations expired before the case was filed… wow… pretty unbelievable…

I think we’ve found our 1C for this season at least, Hartman meshing well with Kaprizov and Zuc…

Zuccy isn’t going to shoot again tonight until KK has the hat trick.

They gave the 3rd goal back to Hartman, but the way that line is playing they each might get another 2 goals…

Ole Rocky has several businesses many of which make more than the hawks. I am sure this was advised by his lawyers.
    Kind of disgusting however.

Hartman had 10 shots on goal tonight (probably 5 of them grade A point blank). I love him as a player, but he’s obviously playing above his skillset and odds are his game comes back down to earth at some point. If you put a good goal scoring center on that line you have the makings of a something special. If a trade isn’t in GMBG’s plan, Let’s hope Rossi becomes that guy next year….

Hopefully this doesn’t come across as a downer post… tonight’s game was fun to watch, I just thought of the future watching Kirill and Mats setup their center over and over with chances…
