Honestly my only reason I say this is I think the west doesn’t have a dominant team/s yet like the east seems to have.
I mean will the avalanche finally be what everyone expected. TBD.
Vegas on paper when healthy looks ridiculous but that is TBD.
Edmonton I mean we all have seen MCD and company falter multiple times.
    Calgary who knows.

The west didn’t even have a team in the Stanley Cup Final last year. An eastern conference team won the freaking Western Conference Final trophy.

Ha good point. Has to be a first for that. Lol

5 in a row for Colorado. I think their goaltending will fail them at multiple points of the season. We all know how streaky Keumper is. Question is do they really need good goaltending with the offense they have?

Yes ask every team that has won the cup. Always an exception here and there but…
The exception is usually a goalie that gets hot that you wouldn’t expect.

Fluery single handedly kept the Wild from advancing last year. Fiala hasn’t recovered yet.

Spurgeon out “week to week” soooo… anywhere from 3 to 10 games?? Really hope they get Addison a bunch of games and PP time but sounds like Benn is back in tomorrow.

I haven’t seen the lineup for tonight yet but Benn again? I suppose you could say he earned it after having a good game against the Lightning but it sure seems at times like the Wild will do anything to not have to give the prospects anytime on the big team.

meh, i’m sure the IOC has tons of limitations given to countries to work around for their jerseys…

I like Canada’s but it seems like i’m in the minority…

I can’t remember where I saw Benn was back in, but hope I was wrong. Honestly I feel bad for the guy. He probably spent his entire childhood getting beat up by his little brother, who was also a way better player.

Delayed start tonight because a bus driver made a wrong turn. I guess we will see what the wild do with 1 hour of prep before puck drop

Man, No Addison again tonight. Wild must really feel like they owe Benn some time.

Gigi on the entire road trip apparently….

Don’t hate it you can only sit so long before you are kind of worthless. Don’t want Addison to rotate if Ben is gone. Long season. Adddison will get his games in this year.

A little taste of own their own medicine.
Good 2 pts. Talbot was solid. Come home for a couple day games should be fun. Will be at both.

Talbot looked like he did last season finally. Hopefully he can string a few together. Glad Fiala got that shootout goal. No shots for him in regulation. That surprised me.

Good game for sure last night. Nice wrister by Fiala for the win! Maybe he dare stick his nose out of the dog house for just a second or two now. I could sure get used to these start times as of late. Tomorrow is perfect with a 2:30 start. We aren’t having our Thanksgiving until tomorrow. All the kids and spouses will be over. My garage is a man cave/bar so we always set up in there for gatherings. It’s awesome we will have a afternoon Wild game to watch!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and hope you and all you’re families are healthy!

Good first period would be more like it. How many times did the Wild hand that game to NJ on a platter?

After the first, the only thing that kept us in it was Talbot and the goalposts. NJ clanked the iron 3 times and Talbot totally robbed them at least 4 more times.

And damnit Dumba! Come on, man. Cross-checking, they call that sh!t now. Get with the program. Well, not just Dumba to be honest. Stupid stick penalties, yeah again how dare the NHL finally decide to enforce the rules? But yet here we are, just like the hand slashing a few years back, we gotta figure this out!

Nice shootout by Fiala, hopefully, that gets him out of the ditch.

I’ll put that in the “lucky to get outta there with a win” category.

Great quote from Foligno about the bus getting stuck in Russo’s article yesterday.

“We took a nice beautiful, scenic route in New York City. It was awesome,” veteran Marcus Foligno joked after Cam Talbot stole two points by making 40 saves through overtime, then three in the shootout for his 10th victory. “We had to show Kirill (Kaprizov) a little more.”

I can get behind that description.

Crazy how that was the game where Cam finally stole a win. I mean of all the players who should be most affected by showing up late. Who has the most stretching and pregame workouts to do. Who has the most consistent mental pregame routine. The goalie.

Been his M.O. his whole carrier. In Chicago he would camp out in front of the net. While 3 guys went all Paul Bunyon on him. Never backing down, all game. Then slash or punch someone, at the worst time.

    rotflol That’s funny.

Love it. Almost as much as “The Washington Football Team” With just the players number on the helmet.

Ahhh, so nice to hear Carter again!

Who had the Wild defense leading the league in scoring after 20 games on their bingo card? I sure didn’t!

Loving Pitlick with Fiala. Too bad he couldn’t get the puck over to Fiala on that 2 on 1 but he made the right play taking the shot.
