Does anybody know of a website that tracks individual player stats (specifically turnovers) per game?

I’d be curious to find out how many Kaprizov, Dumba, Goligoski and Fiala all had last night? I would imagine the number was astronomical vs a typical game total?

    naturalstattrick.com – There’s a learning curve to navigating it but it’s free.

You’re going to be very disappointed if you’re looking for a bunch of turnovers from each of those guys yesterday. I bet they each have 1, maybe 2 giveaways.

The game last night wasn’t that bad… they got pushed in on the PK and that was the difference. 5 on 5 the Wild had the bulk of the chances over 3 periods. They played the whole 3rd in the Pred’s end.

I think the Ek/Foligno combo has given up a PK goal every single game so far. Two of the best defensive forwards in the league somehow make up the worst PK group in the league. Not sure what’s going on there.

Here’s the direct link to yesterday’s game stats: http://naturalstattrick.com/game.php?season=20212022&game=20081

Turnovers: Dumba had 2 and Fiala/Kaprizov/Foligno each had 1. That’s it. This is the point where you think well that doesn’t support the point I was going to make and is not what I saw with my eyes, so stats and this site are dumb.

I take full responsibility for the clunker last night. I swear the game start was 7PM when I looked on Friday, but I was scrolling twitter at 545 and seeing Wild tweets! I flipped the game on and they were down 3 RIP. The margin of victory.
I will do better next time.

There’s ZERO chance that Kaprizov and Fiala only had 1 turnover each, I watched several on consecutive shifts…maybe that site has a different understanding/description of what a turn over is? Kaprizov had at least 5 and that’s being very generous to him…

I think turnovers are based on how long they had possession before losing the puck. I agree Kaprizov lost the puck more than once but many of the times it was like a quick possession and losing it. Sorta like a receiver not making a football move and dropping the ball doesnt equate to a fumble is the way I see it.

are zone entry loss of the puck considered a tunrover? He had at least 2-3 of those alone…

    Joe you’re too predictable.

Check the NHL official stats from the game – they’re the same.

So either all those sites are dumb, OR MAYBE you don’t understand the NHL’s definition of a turnover (giveaway).

I was at the game last night and it was great to be back watching hockey at the X! Wish the score would of been different but also the Refs were horrible last night. I think the loudest the crowd got was for the “Refs you suck” chants.

Fiala literally passed the puck right to a Preds player. It may have been on the PP even. I was like WTF Fiala! If he only had 1 it better at least have been that one LOL.

LOL I tried to warn you that you’d be disappointed with their turnover totals. I’m not claiming to know what constitutes a turnover, I just know the totals are waaayyyy lower than every single fan thinks they are. That’s nothing new, been that way forever. For example: Fiala and Dumba have never averaged 1+ turnover per game in any season in their career.

You can watch replays on ESPN+ with a VPN.

i know it’s a judgement call, i’m just curious to total up what I think the count should be, I only brought it up because from what I watched, the number was going to be really high…

I was at the game and it was hard to watch. The X was far from full and the first goal took any life out of the crowd. I am sure me being there had something to do with the way they played.

6 minutes into the 2nd period I already have Kaprizov with 3 obvious turn overs, Fiala with 2…don’t really feel like re-watching the rest of this game )

Gary already talked to them because the same website had him listed with 3 turnovers last night, couple of fights too… had the ghost of Gordie Howe listed with 2 turn overs…

Just saying the data is bogus… therefor useless, why not give Gary and Gordy some stats too?

Bottom line, yesterday was a terrible game… onto Vancouver…

Bombs dropped on the Blackhawks organization and NHL as a whole today.
    Stan Bowman “resigned”.
Quennville and Cheveldayoff both named as attending the meeting that ultimately got Bowman fired. Q and Chevy both denied having any knowledge of the situation this summer… both just got caught lying red handed.

Blackhawks were in a really easy situation to fire Bowman right now – they suck. That’s obviously different for Q and Chevy, so it’ll be interesting if anything happens with their employment status.

With all the information that has been shared previously this was pretty much how it was going to end. I wonder like you how Q will get past this. Lying about something does not bode well with today’s cancel culture and it never should have with something as serious as this.

Rask scratched Bjugstad on third line. Pitlick on fourth.

I also would be a little nervous about BG. Safe sport is not going to sweep those allegations under the rug. They as in the Pitt organization and those involved will probably be next on the list.
