    Bingo…

I didnt even have that on my Bingo card. BG has been consistent with his messaging all along. “We know what we have to do.”

It’s the free space since it has been evident all along and should not be a surprise anymore.

Right we were all fooling ourselves thinking we could somehow make it work. In the end this is the right move. Not ideal because it would be nice to keep him, but long term it makes sense to move on.

Ha, sounds like the Panthers are mailing it in as reportedly several of the players were seen at a strip club until 3AM this morning LOL

The off-ice/personality stuff may be part of it but I don’t think it’s that they hate him as a person. They just don’t think he’s good enough to warrant blowing up the depth to keep him.

That’s what I was trying to get at in my post, no ill will towards Kevin, I think they just got tired of the more Valleys than Peaks in his game and said it’s not worth blowing the team’s future up for him. I know most fans hate that because we’ve always struggled to find goal scorers/game breakers and here we have one, who’s only 25 years old and we’re trading him away… but in this case it’s future addition by immediate subtraction…

Brunette says its absolutely not true. I would imagine they have these guys on lockdown, but hearing back in the day players got pretty dang rowdy after games.

Biddington’s exit has broken the Blues. Avs will polish them off next game.

Nocappa Bay really took it to the Panthers. The most interesting thing about this series was the sheer novelty of seeing a full compliment of fans in the seats at a Panthers game. Will the wonders never cease? Next we’ll see a full house at a Coyotes game? Well, this may be setting the bar too low as the Coyotes may be playing in a high school hockey inflatable dome next year, but still…

Hartman and Boldy just scored in their first game in the World Hockey Championships, Boldy’s goal was really nice!

Can you imagine Rossi on the top line with KK and Mats? They’d pass it around 30 times before shooting. LOL I think we still want Hartman there for his grit though but thout that’d be funny.

I think they’ll keep Rossi away from Kaprizov and Zuccy except for the powerplay…I think they want Boldy & Rossi to become another Kaprizov & Zuccy….from their limited time together in Prospect camp and Iowa they sure looked like it…

Russo just posted a new Straight from the Source with GMBG…

I love some of GMBG’s answers (The what’s wrong with Adam Beckman answer was funny) but GMBG needs to understand the fans have these types of questions, so don’t always laugh them off like they are the dumbest questions in the world…

His answer to having the Navy Seals pull Kirill out of Russia if there’s issues was funny…

I agree but it would be kinda funny with how much Mats and Rossi pass. There would be fans yelling SHOOT for sure LOL

LOL fortunately his agent is former Green Beret

I think we’ll see a more fluid lineup from Deano next year instead of sticking with what works all year. I thought it was great during the season but it really handcuffed them to basically one lineup in the playoffs. Part of that is because they were so healthy all year they were never forced to make major changes in the top 3 lines.

Did anybody happen to see the video of the Flames obviously going after Draisaitl’s ankle? Is this the NHL’s version of bountygate? The NHL is officially investigating it…obviously this kind of stuff happens all the time when teams know about an existing injury, but it’s never this obvious and repeated so many times within seconds of each other..

    Video isn’t the best – https://twitter.com/frank_seravalli/status/1529186634029101056?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1529186634029101056%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fclutchpoints.com%2Foilers-news-nhl-investigating-flames-for-controversial-targeting-of-leon-draisaitl%2F

What a terrible puck mis-handle flub by Markstrom, but you just know sometime this game Smith will say “Hold my beer”…

Yeah don’t see much in that video Joe. You go to the tough areas and you gonna pay the price especially this time of year. Fact that it is obvious to everyone where he is hurting may exaggerate or make it look closer too.

I think there have been worse more intentional acts this playoffs. Marchy, Kadri almost getting mugged, “cough” spurg.

Are the Oilers actually going to win this series? Pretty impressive so far. IDK how they will match up in the WCF against the Blues or Avs, but interesting matchup regardless.
Yes, that Draisaitl targeting was absolutely obvious and the first thing I thought of was bountygate. They slashed the same ankle at least 4 times.
