Anyone else notice Wes Walz was almost in tears before the game started? I had to rewatch it a couple times. Couldn’t tell if he was holding in a sneeze or was about to cry on air.
I hope Carter does the remaining games…
I watched the national broadcast on ESPN (first period). The analysts after the first period really ripped into Minnesota.
Did they let go of Gigi? Haven’t seen her in awhile and not complaining at all haha
Lol, Avs have 2 goals on 2 shots…
Well no reason to bother watching AVs game. 5-0 and the first isn’t even over. Back to Pengs Rangers OT game.

Man was I wrong on this one. The Avalanche are going to destroy Nashville.
Yup AVs in 3… mercy rule
With no Juicy in net they literally have zero chance.
Goalies are standing on their head in OT..
Glad to see some refs that know how to ref a playoff game.
Igor is a beast and one of the best names in the league. Rangers will come out firing next game.
I didn’t see any of the game but I sure expected Calgary to smack Dallas around a little harder than 1-0. Panther fans must be stung harder than us Wild fans. Ouch!
What a game from the Penguins. Confirmed they are the better team like a lot of people expected. I fell asleep during the last intermission so missed the GWG – more on that later.
Pore old big save Dave lol he’s going to have playoff hockey nightmares the rest of his life
Turned the Stars game on during OT intermissions and it put me right to sleep. That is prime Stars hockey, bore everyone to death and hope to get lucky. Exactly why I didn’t want to see them in the playoffs.
If the Wild lose tonight is it pretty much over? Anyone have faith they can win after that?
Louie Domingue…Good Lord..what a cool story.
Speaking of cool stories, did you see the one about the EBUG in Dallas that had to suit up last week for Anaheim? He was blind in one eye since like he was 12. Pretty cool dude and the team went nuts for him after the game.

Panicking is fun and all, and clearly Wild fans love it, but hear me out… I’m thinking maybe we wait until after the game to up the panic level. IDK maybe just see how tonight goes before we declare all faith lost and the series is over. Ok yeah nevermind, that was a terrible idea sorry
#why….
forget the pattern that got them to where they are, unreal…….so I’m guessing we get to watch #7 roam around again for 3 periods too.
Fleury back in net tonight.
Well that’s a bit surprising. I guess I’m ok with it as I don’t lay the entire blame on him for the last game. I can’t imagine Talbot can feel to good about it. I would guess or hope they talked to both of them but I have to wonder if BG isn’t making this call. Fluery will be on a short leash.
Fleury back in net tonight.
I’m a bit surprised at that. I wouldn’t fault Fleury for the game 1 debacle. But we sure need the W tonight.
Yeah that is a bit of a head scratcher putting Fleury back out there. I wouldnt lay the loss at his feet, but after getting beat pretty handily typically you switch it up especially since Talbot has been so good. If Kahkonnen was the other option I could see staying put with Fleury.
Caps with a surprising (to me anyway) W last night, and Oshie with the game winner! All he does is score big goals!
I figured the Wild would go Talbot, but also don’t put much of the last game on Fleury. IF the Wild lose, they are plenty talented enough to come back and win, just would be pretty unlikely.

I put alot of it on Fluery kicking out 20 and 30 foot rebounds on the power play is a recipe for disaster. The wild will need play alot tighter defense if they hope to have any chance. I am not feeling good about this one.

That was my thinking too. I only watched the first period of game 1 though.
Fleury back in net tonight.
Curious where you heard this info? I haven’t seen anything from Russo today
