You certainly don’t hear the opposite of him and how everyone loves to play with him and he is the greatest team mate and what not.

Went back and listened… Foligno said pretty much exactly that. He went on for a few minutes and had nothing but good things to say about Eichel. Said he was talking to him this summer about the injury and surgery situation.

Russo: “there’s always talk about Jack’s character issues and you’ve told me nothing’s further from the truth”
Foligno: “yeah, rumors…. he’s a guy along the lines of a Mackinnon where he forces guys and pushes guys… that’s a guy that just wants to win. He’s an unbelievable guy off the ice, I had a lot of fun with him in Buffalo.”

And he certainly could be all those things Moose mentioned. He would definitely know more than I would. Just meant you don’t hear a lot about those qualities publicly. Maybe because he was in Buffalo or like Moose mentioned he is more like Mac that he is a little more reserved and private. Maybe moose was just being polite.

Vegas struggled to give Flower away for free after winning the Norris and 2 playoff series. They couldn’t give him away the summer before. That was on a $7m AAV, so what does that make him worth this summer after a down season? I have no idea but my guess is somewhere around $3m – $4m. Let’s see a Billy G special at 1 year x $1m AAV toast

His value will be placed on what he does with the Wild this year. Chicago was such a hot mess this year nobody is going to put that on his shoulders. He wins the Cup with the Wild is one thing if he loses three in the first round and we’re bounced out that’s another. I think we will have enough of BG’s blue light specials on this team next year. toast

Gaudreau is really gaining praise from me and that means something.

Kulikov has been getting some looks has a couple sog. Wonder what their plans are for him. Why would you sign Goligoski over Kulikov?

Thank god we have balanced scoring, another game where the Hartman line is out of sync…

Cool to see Cam earn the shutout, but what a boring game.

Yeah…Who is starting game 1? Do you think they will rotate in playoffs. Depends on how game 1 goes? I mean they have 6 games left and 2 back to backs so more than likely rotating rest of season. Cam probably gets the next start but then every other again.

It was kinda boring but good to get the win. St Louis lost in OT but they still got 1 point so I think we are tied currently.

Cam’s net for the playoffs and you can’t rotate goalies unless he gives them a reason to switch it up. He’ll have a short leash. Could still change if something goes off the rails in the last 6 games too.

What if the flower gives up 3 goals or less in his his next 3 starts?😀

He most likely has kraken yotes and AVs who might be sitting half there team.

If Cam does get the next start because of the shutout he has Van, Nash, Flames

Nashville with big 2 Pts. Would think they would prefer the first WC. Big games for Van and LA

Montreal is god awful so I’m not reading to much into the shutout. Zucc KK and Hartman looked better but were still off last night. Cam made some good saves but he didn’t really have to stand on his head. Fiala, Boldy and Freddy got it done again last night. That line has gotten us the last four points. Illustrates the importance of having two dynamic scoring lines I think Fluery gets the start in the playoffs. It’s why they went out and got him after all.

That being said Fluery is 9-12-2 career against the Blues and Cam is 7-7-6. That would tell you to go with Talbot but I just feel they will start with Fluery and shoot from the hip from there.

Montreal was terrible without Carey Price… he makes a big difference…

I think the Wild playoff starter will be determined by the last 6 games… my gut tells me they will start Fleury and see if he catches fire, if he doesn’t Cam takes over…

OMG someone else using stats against St Louis, the impending first round opponent besides me? Hmmm, never thought that would be relevant. coffee

Ha now games from 15 years ago are relevant?? Some of those games were against Tkachuk, Kariya, Doug Weight, and maybe even Billy G. Flower might have even had Mario on his team.

    How’s their record against Nashville?

That was my point exactly. When I throw out IN SEASON stats against St Louis (or Nashville), I get my balls cut off. I’m a negative nancy or a debbie downer and my commentary is not accepted.

When Ice Cap posts goalie stats from the last decade or more, its crickets.

My reply was to Ice Cap. I just edited to make that more clear. I typed it up before I even saw your reply. Stop playing victim all the time.

And I still think quoting their record against Nashville is dumb – oops sorry for “cutting your balls off”
