Hopefully Ben does not have to play in the top 6 often. Kakko has been terrible so far this game.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22807October 6, 2021 at 7:22 pm #2065704Went to the eye Dr and they dilated my eyes and I can’t see squat. I have no idea if what I’m typing is right or who I’m watching on the ice but it’s not going well regardless.
RipjiggenPosts: 11590October 6, 2021 at 7:28 pm #2065706Well your typing is better than usual and the wild are up 3–0.
It should be team policy that Kakko is not in the building if we are playing the Blues. I also forgot how much I love watching Rask hand it to the other team in the offensive zone….
October 6, 2021 at 7:30 pm #2065709The first goal is absolutely on him for being lazy on the post, but the other 2 arent, the last goal was going wide by a few feet before it hit Rask’s breezers and deflected in…
RipjiggenPosts: 11590CaptainMuskyPosts: 22807October 6, 2021 at 7:55 pm #2065723Was that Beckman? Can’t tell but it didn’t look good from what I could see.
October 6, 2021 at 7:58 pm #2065725Holy crap. I hope he’s ok. I just saw the replay and he could have a broken nose judging by those two shots he took. Second one was a little cheap although I’m sure the other guy didn’t know how bad he was hurt before he switched hands and tagged him again. He did seem to make sure he let him down slow and looked concerned after. Not the way you try and impress the brass if you’re Beckman.
October 6, 2021 at 7:59 pm #2065726It was Beckman’s attempt to repaint the redline with his leaky face… note to self, if getting into a fight to try and score some points with the team and coaches don’t pick a guy who knows what he’s doing dropping the mitts, that was comically bad…
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22807October 6, 2021 at 8:05 pm #2065728I can’t scroll Twitter or read these comments real well so I will just play candy crush.
RipjiggenPosts: 11590October 6, 2021 at 8:11 pm #2065730Nothing cheap about the second shot. If you don’t know how to fight you better swing wildly in hopes it goes to the ice. Play one arm defense and someone that knows what they are doing is going to break your nose.
Don’t ask me how I know.RipjiggenPosts: 11590October 6, 2021 at 8:15 pm #2065732It was Beckman’s attempt to repaint the redline with his leaky face… note to self, if getting into a fight to try and score some points with the team and coaches don’t pick a guy who knows what he’s doing dropping the mitts, that was comically bad…
You don’t get much street cred from fighting Gretzky.
RipjiggenPosts: 11590October 6, 2021 at 8:19 pm #2065734Damn Rask scores if he wasn’t in the way Beckmen was going to bury that one.
RipjiggenPosts: 11590October 6, 2021 at 8:29 pm #2065739Yeah cut on bridge of nose. That was from first punch. Looks like the left caught him in the throat chin.

He totally held up fighting Beckman and then ended it quickly when Beckman didnt just wrap up…
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22807October 6, 2021 at 9:42 pm #2065765Oh baby!!!! Never thought I’d get excited over a preseason game. Rossi!!!!
October 6, 2021 at 9:45 pm #2065766Beckman completes the Gordie Howe hat trick in style! He even paid respects to Gordie with the flying elbow celly! Heck of a zone entry by Rossi to set it up!
The one thing this team sure has learned over the past year is how to chip away at a deficit and snatch a victory from defeat! That’s a great trait to have and a new one for this franchise!
tswobodaPosts: 8517October 6, 2021 at 9:46 pm #2065767Well don’t think Beckmen should fight😳
At least he got to check a Gordie Howe Hat Trick off the bucket list.
tswobodaPosts: 8517October 6, 2021 at 9:50 pm #2065768Can confirm NordVPN works with ESPN+ to watch Wild games in market. Can also confirm it does not stream to chromecast or an old Samsung smart TV. Fire stick is in the mail.

That’s great to know! Thx for testing it!
RipjiggenPosts: 11590October 6, 2021 at 10:26 pm #2065774Not sure what else Beckman could have done in the pre season to make the team.
Will be an interesting decision for the last roster spot.
Rossi Boldy and Beckman in Iowa might be worth a drive to watch.October 7, 2021 at 7:42 am #2065800Not sure what else Beckman could have done in the pre season to make the team.

Rossi Boldy and Beckman in Iowa might be worth a drive to watch.I’m thinking they give it to Beckman just so Management can say to the team and media/fanbase that they will reward great play with a spot on the team. If Boldy or Rossi or any other prospect THINKS they deserve to make the team they can ask themselves how did their camp performance/results compare with Beckman’s? End of complaint… go prove it in Iowa!
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22807October 7, 2021 at 8:50 am #2065820Beckman has to have earned himself a spot. The way Foligno talks about him sounds like the vets definitely have a soft spot for him and he looks like a real character including the Gordie Howe celly tribute after his game winner and completing the Gordie Howe hat trick.
It didnt look good in that fight. Thought he took a major shot there, but he got lucky.
Both the Blues and Wild got sniped from an odd angle goal last night. Kahkonnen had it happen at least twice this preseason. 2 of the 3 goals were really no fault of his, but that sharp angle one he has to stop. Otherwise he made some big saves.RipjiggenPosts: 11590October 7, 2021 at 8:59 am #2065821I honestly think it is is going to Duhaime on the 4th line. Pitlick will start with Fiala. I am rooting for Beckman however.
October 7, 2021 at 9:12 am #2065822I never really played much attention to Duhaime, but I paid close attention to him the past few games. I think he could be a great replacement for Greenway next season (or this year if they trade him off before the deadline) We already know Greenway will be a victim of the buyout pain, but it’s nice to see an energy guy who has a bit of offense who’s ready to slot in when needed.
