Vegas getting killed again tonight! and Wild fans thought they had it rough lately!

Wonder what Eichel career record is. Can’t be good.

Right now with Vegas he’s got 14 games with 5 goals and 4 assists. Two of his goals were game winners. It will probably take him until next season to return to where he was before in terms of play level. If he does that is. He’s only 25 seems like he’s been around longer than that.

Career he has 380 games played with 144 goals and 220 assists for 364 points. Not bad at almost a point a game level over several seasons in the NHL on a bad Buffalo team. I will be forever grateful BG did not gamble on him. I’m not sure how BG thought he was going to fit that $10M aav into our situation but he must have had some plan.

Why was Buffalo so terrible. Clearly a super star like Jack should elevate his team from being terrible.

You didn’t specify wins/loss so my bad but you can easily look that up. Buffalo has had some tough years without a doubt and Eichel was the building block that was supposed to turn that around and it started to until the injury then everything went sideways for him and the team.

How’s his record in Vegas?

Flyers are doing Giroux’s 1000 game celebration before his 1000th game an obvious sign he will be on the move. Granted they will be on the road after this game so it makes sense.

With Hertl signing that adds to the list of players off the market for the trade deadline. Giroux will be the only big mover left really and I’m still guessing he winds up on the Av’s.

KK was not going to be stopped last night and Zuccarello was giving him some sweet passes. Fiala or Boldy did not have a good game last night at all. Fiala had a couple close in shots that didn’t go in but that was about it. Both teams played hard. Kind of worried it was going to be fight club all night and the Wild would be in the box too much and the pk on the ice half the game. With all the missed too many men on the ice calls the refs must have had early dinner reservations and kept their whistles in their pockets for the most part.

Good goal tending on both ends I thought. At least the Wild didn’t have to score five for once. Now lets get two points from Chicago and two from Vegas.

Speaking of Dumba, what the heck was he thinking when he iced the puck when they were playing 4 on 4 late in the third period? Two more strides and he would have gained the red line.

Everything I was reading on Twitter was making it out that tonight was 999 and they were doing the celebration in advance of his 1000th game. I didnt look at game logs to confirm however. Perhaps they were just making a big deal out of nothing seemingly as he is likely moving on. I bet he signs back on with the Flyers however after the season.

I said the same thing when it happened…It’s a problem his entire career, he just doesn’t have good hockey sense…his situational awarenesss on the ice is terrible…case in point the first goal where he’s protecting the near post and his guy is right in the slot and scores…or a few games ago when he went for a monster hit in his own zone in 3-3 overtime…boggles the mind…

I wont give him a pass, but many times guys think that with their follow through they will be past the red line and they get bit by it. Some linesman are more forgiving than others.
Is anyone else irritating by Spurgeon’s follow through on his shots? Its like hes at a chip shot contest or something. Power through the shot for crying out loud.

Derin Dreger is reporting that there’s a bidding war for McBain and there’s a possibility the Wild could get MORE than a 2nd round pick…giddyup!

That would be awesome. I read that this morning too. We will see, he is a good insider, but Id trust Friedman over him when it comes to these things. He however has not commented on the subject recently.

Should we be worried if Jost won’t fit in with the team/locker room?
