If you are a purple fan and you are not excited being 7-1 than you are just a bandwagon MN sports fan. Why not get excited it’s fun to win Dutch.

    Rip,
How long you been living in MN?

I’ll be excited when (if) they ever hoist the Lombardi Trophy on Nicollet Mall.

Can’t be at Nicollet mall….the cars in the parade would get stolen.

I see most power ranking have the Vikings at or near #4. The game against the Bill on Sun. should tell us a lot about how good they are. The Bills are at #3 in the power rankings. Its looks like we may face our old QB Case Keenum on Sunday. I really thought he got a raw deal when he was here. Hope he does not go off as payback for the poor treatment he got while here. I really want to get excited about the Vikings, but they are the Vikings. They have a long history about getting their fans excited and then letting them down. They still just have too many issues on Def. for me to feel like they are as good as they should be for a 7-1 team. I will say I was impressed with the play of Akayleb Evans when he got in last week. That guy can tackle for sure. That’s something that all the other Def. backs seem to have problems with. His coverage skills also looked really good. Got to wonder why he was not getting more playing time before now.

Josh Allen is listed as questionable/day-to-day. Did not practice yesterday.

Keenum is a serviceable backup, but clearly he’s no Josh Allen.

Ya, I like our chances much better if its Keenum at QB. Most reports seem to be that Allen is most likely not going to play, Then again he is a tough competitive player, so we will just have to wait till game time to see.

I agree that Keenum is a very serviceable backup, and with Allen’s known injury last Sunday Keenum has likely taken every first team practice rep. Agreed he’s not Allen at all but I bet their offense still looks pretty good.

I hope Allen plays, I want to see how we stack up with the best in the league with all their weapons, but a W to start this 4 game stretch would be great regardless. And we will know how good the Vikes really are after the next 4 against teams with winning records, Bills, Cowboys, Patriots and Jets.

I agree, I hope he does too. I’m obviously a Vikings fan, but I’m also a football fan and the Bills are an entertaining team to watch.

That is a rather tough 4 game stretch. So much for them having one of the easiest schedules this year.

If Keenum plays you know what’s going to happen….

He’s going to throw a bomb to Diggs at the last second, he’ll catch it, our defenders will miss and he’ll run untouched to the …..

one yard line, where the back judge will spear him Goldberg style, then pin him to the ground until Harrison Smith can run down there and touch him. All the announcers will then comment on how athletic and smart Harrison Smith is, and what a great play it was by the Vikings safety to get Diggs before he got into the endzone.

While I agree that a Josh Allen-led Bills would be the best test. I’ll take Z-Smith vs Case Keenum over Z-Smith vs Josh Allen any day.

And the Bills defense is legit. So the offense will have its work cut out for them. It will be a test no matter what…

That Diggs for JJ trade (basically) has to be one of the best trades ever for both sides! And I have to say I anticipated Diggs being much more of a diva there, but apparently getting the ball as much as he does has quieted him down.

Yeah it was pretty clear they needed to move him. He is a diva. Ever since the Miracle.

Josh Allen is officially listed as questionable. Coach Sean McDermott said he is “hour to hour” for Sundays game against the Vikings. He did not practice Wed or Thurs, but was a limited participant on Friday. His official status will be revealed 90 minutes prior to the kickoff.

    He ain’t playing.

I’ve never seen a team go to such lengths with the smoke and mirrors.

    He ain’t playing.

Per Ian Rapoport, the Bills did not elevate another QB from their practice squad today which means Allen is trending towards playing. If Matt Barkley had been elevated to the active roster, the Bills would have had 3 available QBs on their active roster, likely signaling an absence for the MVP front runner. -Rotowire

Additionally, the line has now moved from favoring the Bills by 3.5 to favoring them by 6.5 points tomorrow.

Cam Dantzler was put on IR, putting him out for at least 4 weeks I believe. Booth is back, and I like Akayleb Evan’s a lot too

Labdaddy1 I’ve been a broken record about Mattison to anyone that will listen, I think he’d start on a lot of teams. We’ve been fortunate to have such a capable RB2 for years. And with all the injuries to Cook he’s more like RB 1.1.

You can’t stub your toe when going head to head with the Bills. Defense hasn’t proven they can stop Allen.

    Buffalo is pretty good.

What a turn of events at the end of the half there. 3rd & 1, 4th & 1, fail. Bills march down the field for a TD. That’s a 10 point swing.

Am I the only person that saw the Bills OL laying on a defender during Allen’s last big run? Guess theyre not calling penalties on the home yeam today. Bills got away with a hold on Hock in the endzone too.

To be fair I dont think the fumble recovered by Min was a fumble. Would like to see better calls.

Glenns cousin Kirk has been making some weird throws. Either high jump balls or trying to drill a line drive past the defenders. Oh well, those interceptions happen eh?
