Pretty cool that she actually has a job. The majority would opt out of working if their sig fig made a pro anthlete income. There are quite a few that still work. And ironically many are nurses. Joe Mauer’s wife used to work at my wife’s hospital, and there are other wives of local athletes at many of the hospitals in town.
In the Middleton Athletic article it talks about his character and his wifes. He basically couldnt afford to live when he was out in San Jose and he felt bad that his wife had to live in such a small apartment. Its a cool article if you have a subscription and Middleton is a really likable guy.
I read that piece a week or so again, and I did see that it mentioned his wife had recently gotten a job at a Minneapolis hospital and I remember thinking wonder which one? She seems very nice. I’ve told myself to not talk about hockey much around her because I’m sure everybody bugs her about being his wife once they find out.
wow, looking at the Wild’s stats and I couldn’t beleive Brodin only has 5 assists for the season, 0 goals… I know he’s not an offensive player, but I thought he was doing better than that…yikes…
I also wonder what Greenway’s future looks like with the Wild…2 more years at $3aav could help elsewhere and guys like Duhaime & Hartman who could be plugged in on Ek’s line…
Cool ESPN Ovechkin 800+ website I stumbled into..Emily Kaplan does a great job with it…it looks liek it will continue to be added onto in the future…

Id be interested to get her thoughts on him being nude under his gear! LOL

HAHA. Im sure it’s the same look most of us get from the FW when we do something stupid….
Russo had Gorg on his Straight From The Source cast the other day and that came up. Apparently it all started because he’s never wearing clothes in the locker room (which was previously reported) but he was supposed to do an interview with Gorg in between periods and he couldn’t find a tshirt to put on and they told him he needed to get out there or they’d miss the window for the interview. So he basically just said eff it I’m going out with no shirt. Now he does it every time and it’s apparently catching on. Addison did it the other night and I think Reaves has done it once also.
Anyone else find it silly that the wild were in New York last week. Came home for 1 game just to go back out to New York.
Anywho Boys could use a win tonight. Going to probably low scoring tight game tonight.
sounds like a bug might be moving through the team, Russo said Dumba and Hartman weren’t at the morning skate and Shaw and Merrill were in their slots…
The NHL schedule for sure has some quirks that just don’t make sense from an efficiancy standpoint…

They were in Buffalo last week. Buffalo and NYC are similar in distance as St Paul and Chicago. Not exactly next door.
What was your favorite Joseph Camarossa moment?
That one time he did that one thing…

A lot closer than back to Minny and then back out to New York again.
That would be like playing Anaheim coming home for 1 game and going back to San Jose 2 days later. Silly I say.
Russo reported on kfan that Greenway showed up an hour before game time last home game and missed meetings, thats why he was held out, said he’s on very thin ice with GMBG & Deano…

Don’t like this. He better figure it out he’s been playing fairly well but that’s inexcusable

have you seen the latest Beyond the Ice? The way he talked about himself being so lazy its a miracle he gets out of bed…. It sounded like he’s living by himself again, that cant be helping….
Russo said its always been an issue with Greenway….you now understand the word “maturity” always being used with Greenway in past Coach/GM interviews regarding him…
Ugly first period tonight. Boys are gonna have to do better than that.
The other part of Russo’s interview that was interesting is that he confirmed the interest in Dumba by the Oilers and Senators is absolutely real and that the Wild would be looking for another NHL Defenseman coming back…
If that’s the case, then why even trade Dumba? With the Wild’s known cap issues next year they likely wouldn’t want to take on any term, so I don’t get it???
Watching the game right now. Can anybody explain to me the deal on smelling salts? The camera was on both benches and both teams were passing around the bottle.

it just “wakes you up” after you’ve been standing in the hallway for 5 minutes…
I replied twice but it never showed up.
Anyway, that explains a lot about Greenway.
Our 2nd PP unit is a complete disaster. They can’t even get the puck into the zone.
On Greenway, I know a girl that dated him for a couple months and said all he did was play video games and go to the bar. SHE dumped him. You can tell anytime he has an interview he doesn’t have a lot going on upstairs.

That’s happening to me a lot too lately.
Nobody is moving around on our PP lately. Can’t get shots through at all. This is brutal to watch.
Nobody except Kirill can win a puck battle right now… there’s zero energy by the Wild, just going through the motions…
I wouldn’t mind a vet sitting in the pressbox and Sami Walker gets called back up again, that kid plays every shift like its his last…

I don’t think sitting Shaw is doing them any favors either. Bench Greenway, and put Reaves in his spot with Foligno and Ek, and put Shaw with Dewy and Dewy. I think that would be a great line.

I’m guessing Shaw is hurt (He did get clipped with a stick 2 games ago) otherwise I don’t think he’d be sat 2 games in a row, especially in light of the new Greenway news…
The Bruins finally suffered their first home regulation loss of the season tonight. A 3-0 loss to the Kraken. Not bad for being 3 months into the season.
That’s like 4 back door tap ins from a KK feed that we’ve whiffed on…..
