Wild media is saying Zuccarello will be out and Duhaime in. Zucc is a little banged up so it’s rest time i guess.

This is another lever Deano can pull to rotate guys out for games off and not have to make the tough choice regarding who’s coming out if Duhaime goes in…

Walz in the pregame is where he should be. He is so good with his analysis but it all gets lost when he’s doing color because he rambles.

Should be a fun game. Tage Thompson is a stud we don’t get to see players a lot.

Wtf Hartman! Parise/Koivu OT effort there…. Why on earth would you skate to a far corner to pick up your stick in 3-3 overtime with the other team in possession? Seriously? How f’ing stupid do you have to be to do that?

Refs said F it in OT…

Russo reports that Flower is dealing with a “Deep personal matter” and is leaving the team until Tuesday…

Wasn’t playing tomorrow reguardless but wish him well and hope the family is ok.
Maybe it will help all the Rossi fans to know Shane wright was sent back to his junior team. Yeah not the AHL but juniors for the rest of the season. Pretty by old move but probably the right one for a 19 year old.

He couldn’t be sent to their AHL team, so it was either find him a spot on the smooth operating Kraken lineup that’s likely a playoff team and burn the 1st year of his ELC or send him back to Juniors where he’s likely going to be traded to a league contender to make a long Memorial cup run…pretty easy decision imo…I didn’t think he was very noticeable in the WJC, but Bedard stole a lot of the spotlight from everybody…

It feels like even if Rossi was absolutely on fire in the AHL (he’s averaging over a point a game since his demotion) the Wild loves it’s current lineup so much right now they likely would want to disrupt it and call him up anyways…they already have that issue with Duhaime coming back…the only way I could see him getting called up the rest of the season would be if one of our center’s got hurt…

There’s been a couple of articles lately that talked about what Rossi was told to work on in Iowa (imposing his authority, taking/demanding control of the puck, etc) and sofar he’s taken to the coaching and has been excelling…

It would be Zane McIntyer, not Hunter Jones.

Anyone know what the personal matter is with Fleury? For some reason my subscription for the athletic isn’t recognizing that I’m subscribed so I can’t read Russo’s latest.

he didnt go into details, I suspect if it was something with his own family he would have been excused alot earlier since Russo mentioned its been an issue he’s been dealing with for a week or so… so maybe extended family? He definitely looked distracted in the postgame interview last night…

Wallstedt stopped 33/34 shots today for back to back wins this weekend…. I believe his weekend total was 54/56 shots…

It feels like they are lifting any restrictions they had on him to start his pro career, this was his first full weekend series.

That was a dirty dirty hit by Thomas on Hartman! You might see Reaves set loose the rest of this game…that hit will not be forgotten by the Wild…

Don’t you think the reason he started back to back is that Zane was brought up?

Rossi is going to get another chance soon if our centers keep going down the tunnel. Not good.

very likely, but they did say he’s going to get more games the 2nd half of the season… I assumed this weekend was the start of that thinking but your point makes more sense..

If the Blues go up a few goals in the final minutes you could see the Wild goon it up as payback, you can tell they were holding back only because its a 1-0 game…

Everyone is shooting from everywhere in the third. Got to fight through checks and get your stick on ice. Could have had a couple this period.

Foligno trying to be a skilled type of player he isn’t… directly leads to a Blues goal..

Sounds like something might be going on with Greenway. Originally was a late scratch due to sickness, but on Russo’s podcast he said after the game Dean made Greenway unavailable to the media and said he wasn’t talking about his situation, insinuating that something else was going on. Kind of odd.

Here it is almost the halfway mark of the season and Fiala is once again starting to light it up. Seven points in the last two games and five of those being goals. Forty five points in forty four games. The Kings are getting their money’s worth so far. Pretty slippery move for a goal from last night against the Oilers.
