This one has to be no goal
that was a good goal IMO moreso than the other one.
Goalie pad moved by a stick and it’s almost always called off. Again, I don’t know the IIHF rules. These announces sure think those were goals ha they are really letting the refs have it
Lol, down 2 the USA team is happy they have all those offensive defensemen! Hughes and Hutson putting on a puck possession clinic…
The puck was free under the pad there was a gap he didn’t have it smothered. That’s a good goal. That was a terrible shift get off the ice!
Nice! We got the A team announcing the game tonight.
Lol beat me to it
I knew Hedman was big but wow. Standing side by side with Reaves he made Reeves look small.

he’s a purple unicorn… nobody that big should be able to skate and handle the puck that well…
Brayden Point has really impressed me… that dude is friggin good!
The first time I saw Vaselevsky in pads in person I couldn’t believe it… how anybody finds the net behind him is amazing…
Addy having himself a game… love that he shoots, hopefully our other D were watching..
Can’t believe KK redirected that slap pass from Boldy so perfectly. That thing was off the ice a ways!
And yeah, that shot by Addison was awesome.
Good lord how many posts have we hit tonight (counting the 3 Zuccy hit on one shot)
Kirill is just otherworldly
We’ve all seen that move before, but not that quick and not in that tight. That was unreal.
I can’t tell you how hard that is to do in a game situation. 99 percent of players that play doesn’t even cross their mind.
That Steel goal would have missed the net by 6 feet. I know this gets brought up all the time here so now you know that’s why the Wild D miss the net so much on point shots. They’re not trying to hit the net. They’re #1 making sure it doesn’t get blocked and #2 shooting for tips, not rebounds. Point shot rebounds don’t turn into goals, tips do, and tip rebounds.
Penalty call before the Point goal was garbage. Cirelli absolutely crushed Hartman after a back checking penalty, of course there’s going to be a scrum. Giving Hartman the extra is just BS game management because the Lightning were down 3
Penalty kill is so much better and actually fun to watch this year
HA! That stat of Steel having 6 goals in each of his first four seasons is pretty nuts.
Told ya anybody could have a career year with KK and Zucc….HA!
Besides Anson Carter calling himself Ace, has anyone ever heard someone actually refer to Anson Carter as Ace?

nah, 95% of the time our D hesitate with the puck and then dump it in the corner when the block is lined up, Edzo even brought it up a couple of times tonight, Spurgeon was the one I specifically remember him pointing out….
Oh no Gus. He was very good again tonight
Smith reported that Deanno said he skated to the bench and puked his brains out! Lol
So its just a bug, must have been hanging out with Vasky…

I’m just talking about the missing the net comments I see all the time.
If you wanna segue into a different topic of not even shooting it at all well that’s pretty obvious. They play a heavy possession style game in the O zone. Selective with shots when they establish possession unless they know they have numbers net front. Sometimes they’ll control the puck for 20+ seconds without a shot. They D are doing what they’re coached to do for the system the team plays.
Tonight Hartman ripped a bad angle half slap shot from the point that took a bounce and turned into a 3 on 1 that forced him to take a penalty and turned into a goal. That play is a perfect example of why they don’t force pucks to the net. Their priority is keeping possession and the puck in the O zone.

Well that’s good news!
