Toronto TB is going to be a good one. Toronto will choke… again.
Stars Wild could just end up with a bunch of people hurt on both sides. Going to be a great series if we stay healthy but I worry about just how healthy we are right now. I put Benn Marchand and Hartman all in the same nuisance category. They all suck to play against.
I don’t see the other series being too close except for maybe rangers devils. It is playoff hockey though and everything goes. So electric.
Gosh I would love to beat the Stars. Still hold a grudge. Let’s go!

Norm Green still sucks!
Garbage horse chit late 9pm start times for games 1-3 in the central time zone. Looks like I won’t be watching much of these yet again. I hate east coast hockey priority. Looking forward to watching game 4.

So you’re the guy that starts the chant at the X…

it will ALWAYS be this way unless we somehow play an eastern timezone team, TV needs to get 2 games in a night…at least there’s options nowadays to watch more than just your home teams games…
I love the late starts. I leave the office around 10 so without a late start I don’t get to see any of it. That’s why TNT on Wednesdays is so great.

No, but I certainly would participate once it started LOL
Sounds like Ek might be back sometime this series. Lundquist and Johansson skating this morning too.
Looks like Faber is replacing Merril in the top6… playing with Klingberg… I like it… I’m guessing they’ll have Klinger on a short rope and if he’s costing the team more than benefiting, they’ll replace him with Goose…
Imo discipline will be the most important factor for the Wild in the series… we absolutely cannot take undisciplined penalties, Dallas had a top5 powerplay during the regular season and I suspect it will be just as dangerous in the playoffs with the veterans they have…The ageless Joe Pavelski is an under the radar key to their team…
I just hope we dont run into an unstoppable goalie that we just cant score on, tired of being the victim of that playoff scenario…
It probably won’t happen but I’d like to see the Wild wear the throw back jerseys against the Stars..the whole series!
Here are the odds for each team to win the Stanley Cup, per Draft Kings today. No surprise that Boston is the heavy favorite.
Bruins 3-1
Avalanche 7-1
Oilers 8-1
Maple Leafs 9-1
Hurricanes 11-1
Devils, Rangers 12-1
Golden Knights, Lightning 14-1
Stars 15-1
Kings, Wild 22-1
Panthers, Jets 35-1
Kraken 40-1
Islanders 50-1
Sounds like Faber is getting the nod.
Ek skated on his own today and will travel to Dallas. I think he could actually play in Dallas.
See how long of a leash Klingberg has.
Faber has looked very good IMO. Klingberg has been a huge disappointment. I expected a resurgence given a new chance, but he is just not good. Nothing like when he was with Dallas.
Klingberg is playing men’s league. Defense? No thanks, I’m good.
If Ek plays in Dallas he is a freak.

I think Klingberg has played exactly like he has his whole career…the difference with the Wild is he’s getting 3rd pair minutes and has only had a few games with the full powerplay group sofar…He’s always been a riverboat gambler on the blueline, that hasn’t changed with the Wild, he just doesn’t get enough opportunity anymore to offensively make up for his eventual defensive mistakes…
His PP skillset of getting pucks on net also benefits teams that clog the front of the net and are good at tipping pucks, that’s one of Dallas’s strengths that led to his success, the Wild not so much SO FAR…
That video gets a guy a little riled up, for sure!!
So, according to the Wild’s website, this first round will be on BSN as well as espn2? Can someone confirm? I have ESPN+ but that doesn’t come with any of the ESPN or ESPN2 stuff.. Did I see somewhere on here that Sling would have all the channels I need?

if you have ESPN +, you should be able to watch all games (except the Wild per NHL blackout rules, but a VPN can get around this) Because there are more games than available main channel TV (ESPN/ABC/TNT) time slots, I beleive all local team affiliates (Ballys for the Wild) gets all of the 1st round games UNLESS its a weekend nationally televised game on ABC?
My guide is showing both, but in the past, the ESPN2 showing has been blacked out for regional coverage on BSN.
If Ek plays in Dallas he is a freak.
He’s gotta be playing game 1 if they brought him, otherwise they’d keep him home to rehab and get ready for game 3 (which I thought they were doing)
Ekker is just a different animal, dude would play on 1 leg if he could…
That Wild hype video really pointed out how GMBG has molded the team into one that is built to play Gritty playoff hockey vs previous teams…

yeah, I’ve seen both this season, ESPN broadcasted game simultaniously broadcasted on Ballys as well, and then a blacked out ESPN channel screen…I guess you’ll find out
Klingberg was a question mark yesterday with a lower body injury. Merril took his place. Kind of surprised it wasn’t Goose.
