Im really intrigued with Nyquist. He could be a really sneaky good pickup at the deadline. It was a bold move by BG.

Agreed, he’ll for sure be an injury replacement option, but I bet they get him in a game or 2, he’s playoff eligible too…

Liam Ohgren has has an awesome 18 year old season and is leading his team in playoff scoring… he’ll most likely play another season in Sweden before coming over to the States…. He should be one of the top European players and team Sweden’s Captain at next years WJC…

Avs announced that Makar is out indefinitely with a lower body injury… will be interesting to see if they are just saving him for the playoffs or if he’s seriously hurt…

One can hope, but no chance with this coaching staffs love affair with Steel.

No center depth was/is bound to catch up eventually and bite them in the arse.

If Ek is out it is a huge blow. You don’t have a replacement.

They either kept him out as a precaution or its broke and the fact that he needed player help to get off the ice isnt good…. Sunquist took 2-3 decent cross-checks to the lower back by LeTang, but they didn’t look any more egregious than the hundreds of others that happen every game…

How about the Cam Talbot fallout in Ottawa, they won’t even dress him as the backup anymore…

When you get hit in the skate like that it can hurt like a mother f’er at the time though. So I’m staying optimistic.

Horrible news is the team announced Eriksson Ek ruled “week to week”. Round one is 1.5 weeks away and round two roughly 3.5 weeks. I hope that’s enough weeks.
