This myth that Reaves mere presence will stop every player from doing anything to anybody is just dumb…

    Definitely agree with this…

I don’t know, having Deslauriers on the team last year really ensured that Braydon Schenn didn’t take any liberties with our players in the first round of the playoffs didn’t it?

Oh wait, Schenn basically had free reign on our skill players and smaller defensemen and no one did crap about it. Mainly because Deslauriers couldn’t catch up to anyone and no one on the Blues was stupid enough to actually engage in a fight.

You know the Blues are just hoping you waste a roster spot on some slow, lumbering enforcer, that’s one line they don’t have to worry about scoring against them.

Not to mention it seems like you’re twice as likely to pickup a penalty retaliating to a dirty hit than the original dirty hit.

BG on Barrerro right now. He said its not KK’s knee. So that is good. Not sure what he would have hurt though. Hamstring? Groin?

I know if I even think about doing the splits I feel like a few things would strain or worst case tear…my guess is its a groin strain… There’s no chance he sits for more than a few weeks, I could see him coming back vs the Kraken…(4 of the 7 games he could miss are very winnable without him, Bruins, Capitals and Devils being the tough games)

He’s then hopefully back for the brutal 6 game stretch against Seattle, Vegas x2, Blues, Colorado, Pittsburgh….

Hamstring or groin was my guess right after it happened. The way his legs ended up was soft tissue pull, not knee.

Chuck Fletcher out as Philly GM (man did he do a number on that franchise)

What a fraud Fletcher was. Total embarrassment that it took the Wild 9 years to figure this out.

The ONLY positive i’ll say about Fletcher is he was the first MN Sports team GM (outside of the Vikings Speilman) who at least threw all of his chips out on the table to try and win in the playoffs. Yes, he burned the prospect pool down to nothing and most of his trades were terrible, but he did go for it…for how many years have MN GM’s talked about they can’t sacrifice the future and we’ll eventually be good….

Johansson is really trying to redeem himself from his last stint here. He’s been great so far.

Remember when we had a goalie problem???

Steel had another invisible game, I wonder if they give Walker a shot tonight?

well we are used to it being MN sports fans. It’s always doom and gloom. Only survived the first period will have to watch the recap but 5 goals? Kirill who?

Rossi and Beckman have been on a nice goal & point streak recently. Rossi has 8 points in his last 4 games.

Best goalie tandem I can remember.

Steel must have some serious dirt on somebody, seriously what is their fascination with him?

Reaves was dead tired after skating hard all shift and putting that Coyotes defenseman through the boards… no energy to fight, I think we’ll see round 2 later…

Wow. Lots of fighting going on so far. It’s not even 5 minutes into the game.

It’s like losing KK woke everyone up. Now everyone is scoring. I know these are two bad teams but it’s nice to see others actually can. Even Reaves joked about it being his job now in his interview lol.

Nice! I had paused and am a few minutes behind. You confirmed the assist before the announcement.

The boldy Ek mojo combo seems to be working pretty well. Couple more games will help but I’ve been impressed so far.
