Reaves should go do something.
Fixed it for you.

Just watched the extended TNT clip of him skating off the ice and walking down the tunnel, there was a definite limp…still dont think it will be anything serious…
Good win tired on the road when they didn’t have their best stuff. Hope KK is OK.

RUSSIAN MACHINE NO BREAK!!!
April 11th the Jets will be in St. Paul & HCDE will have last change. Only one game left before game 1 of round one.
Will it be 75 or 17 vs 64?
Fleury was fantastic last night. There were a few extremely lucky saves, but dang he was sharp.
can you feel the tension in the state of hockey? surprised there aren’t rubes outside the Wild’s preferred imaging clinic waiting for Kirill to show up….
I’d guess it’s a hammy pull or groin after the way his legs split when he was flattened.

Yeah I am really worried about him. That didnt look good and the fact he left the ice is very concerning since he never goes to the locker room.
I was VERY worried when Brodin went down, but the team hasnt missed a beat. Now tied at the top with Dallas! Impressive. Lets hope this Kirill thing is nothing serious, but with the other lines showing some signs of life we could maybe hold serve if he is out a little bit. I still cannot believe what Boston is doing. Sheesh. They have won like 15 in a row or something ridiculous like that. Wild second hottest team in the league.
The good thing is the next 3 games are very winnable without him, he’d have 9 days to rest if its not a serious injury…

I would agree that they are should -win games. However…
Hellebuyck is not great so I would NOT take a 4-2 win with 1 being empty net over the Jets as a sign that all our anemic offense woes are over.
Signs are encouraging with Hartman and Foligno scoring, but we’re still not exactly an offensive juggernaut. Defense is great but you can’t win a hockey game 0-0. Well, I guess you can kinda sorta win at least with Gary’s Wacky OT Points…
I’m still hoping for regular scoring to resume.
If they can somehow get to 3 goals a game on average they wont lose much the rest of the season.
All sorts of Defense cliches but if you don’t give up any it’s impossible to lose.

i’m just talking about surviving short term if Kirill is only out 7-14 days…

Hopefully a short term without KK will be the spark that gets some other players to find the net more. How awesome would it be if Hartman or Foligno or Freddy Hockey would go on a tear? That’s what made last year so much fun, it was just the sheer numbers of goals the Wild were pumping in.

yeah, that would be nice! Last 2-3 games look promising!

Well true, but when was the last time they gave up more than 2 goals let alone 3 was my point.

Wasn’t directed at you. This team is built to keep pucks out of the net not put them in.
Will 17 and 75 play rock, paper, scissors to see who gets first crack at Logan Stanley?
Chuck Fletcher out as Philly GM (man did he do a number on that franchise)
I wonder how long before the Coyotes hire him? would fit their narrative…
Yeah, the audio leak of him talking about an app they developed that evaluated trade scenarios is what did him in or what made it inevitable.

The horse is out of the barn now with KK hurt. When we picked up Reaves all the talk was how now no one will take liberties with KK because Reaves is so feared and respected. Didn’t work out I guess. Good news is Sammy Walker is back up. Kind of a forced player development situation something the Wild seem happy to kick the can down the road on otherwise.

don’t agree with this take at all… I don’t even think it was a dirty hit, Stanley quickly skated out to defend, Kirill did a quick pivot/reverse hit to back into Stanley and his huge size carried his momentum overtop of Kirill who then squatted a bit… wtf is he supposed to do? Of course its going to look awkward when a 6’7” guy hits a 5’10” guy…
This myth that Reaves mere presence will stop every player from doing anything to anybody is just dumb…
