I know its just 1 period and he’s probably juiced playing for a new team, but that looked like the Klingberg from 5 years ago SOFAR… i’m in shock a bit on how aggressive he’s been offensively…. If he can maintain this level of play and thats a big if, that’s a f’ing steal and potential game changer….

I can only think Deano and Billy told him the reigns have been removed, go be the offensive player you’re know for…

That’s the only thing that makes sense for how offensively aggressive he was that period… typically guys who get traded play it ultra safe for a few games…

Oh and I thought he almost got his knee blown out cutter into the Flames zone late in the period…

Now watch him play like crap next period

I thought the Flames looked horrible. Wild D was great but Calgary didn’t even look like they wanted to be there. I was surprised by that.

That’s what happens when your coach is 80 and runs your team like it is 1980.

They list some pretty damn goo players this past off season.

Glad to see Boldy score. Maybe that 2nd line can get it going, that would really help.

What’s with the NHL promoting pride night so much this year??

Supposed to skate this week guessing he will be back by weekend or early next week. They have some flexibility with guys right now so that helps with the whole lineup.

Let Brodin take his time. The longer they learn to win without him, the better off they will be.

I beleive it was lower body, likely a bruised knee or ankle tissue issue from blocking a shot many games ago…

Agreed. He doesnt get enough credit for just how good he is. He doesnt contribute much offensively but his D coverage and getting out of the zone is probably the tops in the league.

Still going but you’re right it’s not showing up on the site anymore. Still playing for me on mobile but I can’t find it on desktop… it was there when I put the link in my previous post.

I cant get access to the athletic on mobile anymore. I canceled my subscription and then when I re-upped it no longer works. They reset my password and then I could access it online, but app doesnt work still. Ugh.
