The first goal was a good shot, but it was all Kirill sending him in on the goalie. Now the 2nd goal was a beauty and COULD light a spark, we’ll see… he’s definitely doing what he needs to do to be successful, completely opposite of his first half of the season…

What’s crazy is that the TV game clock wasn’t in sync, so the early replays all showed the goal in the net with .01 seconds left, but the green light was on indicating the official game clock expired beforehand…so confusing…
in terms of Kane for a conditional 2nd, I think Flower’s condtion was the Wild had to reach the Conference Finals for it to switch to a 1st? I would want the same for Kane, not just 1 round win… I still think the Rangers will make an attempt to get him, remember Kane has full control so if he says Rangers or nowhere, you would think the price would come down to whatever the Rangers offered if Chicago wanted to get anything back for him…

Would you do that for Kaner? I would 100%. He’s had a *rough* year but they have a gaping hole he fills perfectly. Just imagine a PP2 with Kane Freddy Hartman and Brodin

I think it would be hilarious to watch Ek’s eyes ping pong back and forth playing with Kane and Boldy…I would run 5 forwards (Kaprizov/Kane/Ek/Boldy/Zuccy) on the PP1 (Have Zuccy be the QB)
again, I think he goes to the Rangers for a meh return because he calls the shots (similar to what Taylor Hall did to go to Boston) That deal will absolutley need a broker to take on the 25%, maybe the Wild does that again, so technically we would be trading for him…)

Only 2 games left in Danila Yurov’s KHL season and he still hasn’t signed an extension…you’d think if he’s held out this long (putting up with being scratched or the 13th forward getting >2 minutes of icetime) he’s probably wanting to sign with the Wild and come over?

Let’s hope so, he still has the playoffs to wait out which start in March. I assume he would go right to Iowa if he does make it out of Russia.

He did, he really didn’t say much other than it sucks dealing with Russia…Russo said he thinks Yurov should sign a 1 year deal to stay in the KHL…I think that’s a big mistake, get him to Iowa asap…

I was saying this like a month ago lol. His stats are ridiculous.
The roles need to be reversed right now. Gus should be starting most of the games, except when there is a back to back situation, as Ripjiggen stated. Then Fleury can go in there. I swear BG has some stupid brainwashed idea in his head that the net is and always will belong to Fleury though. Just wait and see.

Bonkers how KHL teams will just straight up not play these teenagers and that can’t help their development. But also look how well it worked for Kaprizov and now for Khusnutdinov. He is getting experience the Wild could never offer him right now, same for Kaprizov when he was still there. Isn’t the new model that development happens in practice, not games?
