Yeah just think his game is going to be difficult to stick since he is really only a shooter. Team is struggling scoring 5vs5 I am not sure Beckman is going to be a savior for that.
He basically has to score to stick.
    Hope I’m wrong.

Great opportunity for Beckman and apparently he’s hot in Iowa. Hope it works out for him. I will not miss watching Steel in the top 6.

There is no denying Addison’s poor defence. It’s not just the dumb pinches, it’s the fact that he loses players around his net and is constantly chasing after them.
But Addison had better not be the only healthy scratch.
Reeves is bringing nothing to this team. He can’t catch anyone to hit and actually seems to avoid hitting them square. He doesn’t make glaring mistakes but also fails to make any notable plays.
Greenway is much the same, he doesn’t seem to be able to get a good shot off.
I don’t know if they would have to put someone on waivers or if they can put Greenway on the IR but they should bring up Beckman and Walker and sit Greenway and Reeves.

Not possible without injury or waiving a player.

Then I think it’s time for them to admit Greenway is injured, even if he isn’t, and waive Reeves to send him down.

at least he’s finally getting a lineup spot to do what he does best, shoot the puck…here’s his shot to stay in the NHL this year, I’m sure Tim Army told him “make it so they can’t send you back down”

I agree with this. It’s starting to feel like we’re back in the Parise, Granlund, Koivu days when we had all these assist guys and nobody that could bury a scoring chance. Only difference this year being KK obviously. What they need to start doing is get back to hitting everyone in sight, getting the puck to the net and getting the gritty goals. That’s how they were winning when they were playing well this season.

Kind of what they did last game. I mean they had 43 shots. Had 30 something vs Florida.

Like Deans junior coach. 50 checks and 50 shots a game.

Going to be a tough game to score a bunch I know that. Jake don’t give up many.

These penalties are getting ridiculous… Deano needs to back off the refs and start chewing his own players out for being lazy…

I would be ok with waiving Reaves. chased

PK has been really good lately but top 10 on the season. Definitely a big improvement from last year. Finished 25th.

It would look even better if they weren’t constantly on the PK.

Looked like Benn beat Goligoski off the boards to the net?

What was your favorite Ryan O’Reilly Wild moment?

Flower better not start again until Thursday against Columbus. Just sayin but they’d be on a 4 game point streak if Gus started last game. They only need 1 or 2 with him in net right now.

No chance any of the Boldy haters have ever worn a pair of skates in their life.

Sucks that the Blues have 3 x 1st round picks in a great draft to rebuild with, but i’m happy Chicago might be stuck keeping Kane (as they are with Toews) since the Rangers and Maple Leafs were the 2 teams he said he would lift his NTC for….

Lasty, why just a 2025 4th round pick? In addition to the Wild, I’m sure Toronto also called Buffalo, Arizona, Detroit (All teams with HUGE amounts of deadline capspace) and basically said who wants a draft pick to help broker this deal with St Louis? It then became a lowest bidder war on how far out and what round draft pick to accept.

Gus stole another one last night. I thought the team looked decent. Not as good as last game when they played one of their better games in awhile and got nothing out of it. That blocker save at the end of the shootout was awesome by Gus. That kid made a really quick backhand attempt and Gus was all over it.

Goligoski looked a little quicker last night too which is good. Maybe getting him in a few games will get him up to speed again.

This is kind of who I thought this team might be at the beginning of the season though. I think a lot of people felt that way. With losing Fiala it had a trickle down affect on two of the lines and they couldn’t replace him with anyone. I don’t imagine we are going to see them struggle THIS bad 5 on 5 for the rest of the season. At least I hope not.

They will continue to struggle 5-5, they just don’t have the firepower, it might even get worse as teams start to get into playoff lockdown defense mode the closer we get to playoffs…

heck, even Kirill is showing signs of wearing down a bit lately due to improved defensive play around the league…

Goaltending and Powerplay are the ONLY things keeping the Wild afloat…bet that wasn’t on your bingo card to start the season…
