Shaw in, Reaves out. Brodin back and Ek with Duhaime and Boldy tonight.

Deano may only give this about 2 shifts before he reverts back. Hoping he keeps it for the whole game, but time will tell.

Good period, but there’s still bad turnovers and shoddy defensive play all over the ice for the Wild…

    Looks like a different team.

Boston suffered only their second regulation loss of the season on home ice tonight. A 2-1 loss to the Caps.

    Looks like a different team.

    1st & 2nd lines generating some offense at least, Foligno/Gaudreau/Greenway were mostly meh…really worried about Foligno… he’s a liability on the ice…

Shaw definitely brings more skill and energy than Reaves, but we knew that…

Hartman literally cannot get himself out of the doghouse. I think the extra two was warranted but the misconduct was too much.

It was a terrible call. Wild should have had a PP.

it’s actually the correct call, it just needs to be called by every NHL Ref not just a few….

Hartman skated across the ice to fight the guy, I’m not convinced Kirill was even hit that hard, he always acts like he’s shot…

Better overall, but still not good enough. Offense is MIA.

Yes Hartman skated over. You can not say for certain to fight. The other guy dropped his gloves first.
Maybe Hartman wanted to lick his face.

4th line just has a chance to score without Reaves on it. I actually was impressed with Reaves for a bit but the last couple weeks is what I thought we’d see happen with him.

depends if Flower comes back (after this trying year, he could retire early)

Toughest part about signing Gus is agreeing on term… he’ll want a longer term commitment, Wallstedt doesn’t want to be in Iowa forever…

I can’t but help to see the similarities between Dubnyk and Gustavsson. Dubnyk came out of nowhere to save the season and surprised everyone. Was quickly rewarded with a big contract only to discover we had already seen the best of him. Similar to what Gustavsson is doing now. No one including Guerin knew what to expect from him he was just a goalie we could get to replace Talbot to play behind Fluery. Now he looks like he should be the number one goalie. Is he playing at his ceiling now and once he’s been through the league a few times and there’s more of a book on him is there a regression coming? Should we do the same thing with him as we did Dubnyk even if we could?

They better figure out a way to sign Gustafsson. Let Fleury go if needed, he’s still good but his best days are behind him. I’m hoping they ride Gus for awhile here and get back into the race.

Gustafsson is younger than Dubnyk was. Different styles and personalities I don’t see much similar.
