Who all is hunting this year. With no tags out west and a newborn I am taking the year off from elk/mule deer and going to give the no quota area a shot. Good luck to everyone out there!

I was debating the no quota option, but not sure I’ll have the time to devote to it to be successful. 4 years applying now with no tag.

I was hoping to go no quota in NW MN where I deer hunt but won’t have time to do 8 hour round trips to bait. Maybe next year.

The breaks have been on my list for a few years. Good luck! Once you get into elk hunting you’ll be hooked!

I’m really looking forward to it! I have a combo tag, so i’ll head back out in November for mule deer as well.

I pulled a WI bear tag this year. I did hurt my arm so I thought I was SOL this fall. Ruptured my bicep but one Surgeon I saw and another for 2nd opinion both said I would not need surgery. I have been shooting my bow and no pain and still playing ball.

Nice what area? I have a cabin outside Danbury and have always run dogs. I have 7 points and should get Zone A before too long. I don’t have any anymore due to lack of time and living in town now. Hopefully you stay pain free!
