^^^Dude in the gray hoodie legit feared for his safety and ran away from Deano. He just goes crazy after OT winners!

Rask just staring the jumbotron like a toddler watching cartoons when every other player is looking at the ice.

Need to win the cup to win the Conn Smyth, and there’s a zero percent chance a North division team wins the Cup.

Now that I think about it, I thought the Conn Smyth was for season MVP even though I know it’s for post season MVP. My previous response was for season MVP. For some reason I was confusing the Conn Smyth with the Hart.

Figured that might be the case after I posted.

McDavid is a lock for the Hart, should be unanimous. He’s having one of the most dominant individual offensive seasons in the history of the NHL.

    ^^^agree.
Can’t wait for the game tonight and yelling in person on Thursday. I could not watch any other sports as long as I get to watch playoff hockey.

Pierre LaBrun wrote an Athletic article on the Lightning cap situation and Kucherov starting the playoffs, the jist of it is the NHL says they investigated it and found they didnt break any CBA rules, I think them mentioning the CBA is a key point…

It still smells of BS to me… he’s out just BEFORE the regular season starts and then is magically 100% healthy the start of the playoffs, not days, a week or two before the playoffs, the Day they start..Allowing the Lightning to stay cap compliant for the regular season and not have to fire sale $10 Million before it started and then allowing them a roster of $110 million for the playoffs… absolute BS!

You saw him practically knockout someone earlier right? Then he blasted Darby who is still chiseled to this day. I love the intensity.

Haha yeah first game of the year he went nuts on kaprizov OT goal so they show him on replays all the time now. Just violent cellies from the coach, I love it.

I don’t really buy into conspiracy theories, but I’ll give you that is quite the coincidence that everything worked out so well for Tampa. Break it down to a person by person level and it just seems like too much to pull that off. Could Kuch have come back maybe a week earlier? Probably. Did they delay his surgery to keep him out until playoffs? No way.

I follow Pierre Lebrun because he breaks a lot of stories, but any controversial NHL story from him is a complete waste of time. The guy is a total puppet for the league. They’re elbow deep up his ass and probably wrote most of this story for him. In return the NHL gives him inside access to coaches and GMs for all his polls and anonymous interview stories.

uggg, did anybody figure out why some replies to posts end up not getting posted to the thread? It’s been happening alot to me lately and its frustrating as hell…

I even had a reply typed up praising Ek as a true #1 center, now that reply is lost forever…. )

in response to this “Did they delay his surgery to keep him out until playoffs? No way.”

They didn’t delay his surgery, they dragged it out perfectly to start before the season and end when the playoffs started… if Kuch played 1 regular season game this season, the Lightning would have had to somehow remove $10 in cap space…they knew exactly what they were doing….The NHL Execs are just chicken Chit to do anything because they didn’t want any bad press during a tough season due to covid…

How is delaying not the same as dragging it out?

The posting issue is from quoting a post with a quote in it. I look forward to reading your feature on superstar #1c Joel Eriksson Ek

Joe have you been drinking tonight. toast
Drives me nuts when you try and quote a post and type something up and it doesn’t post.
The Tampa bay thing will have a rule change at some point. Planned move? At some point I believe so. GM working a loop hole perfectly. Have to respect that a little bit.

Rask has indeed been playing well. He seems more suited for that line.

I watch a ton of hockey, but is there a home fan base that cheers more for a 1 on 3 than Vegas?

GREEF line taking every puck directly to the blue paint. Stonehands is bound to jam one through eventually.

Scared, soft, complacent… Whatever you wanna call it, it’s not good. Dude should not be in the lineup with Parise and Boldy both available.

2 lazy goals allowed by the Wild…will they load up with Fiala and Kaprizov together for the 3rd?
