Doesn’t sound like Boldy will be making the trip up until the playoffs.

Vegas may be playin with 10 forwards and 5 D tonight do to cap constraints

Kinda frustrating that the Wild burned this year of Boldy’s contract without ever getting an NHL game. Newhook, Knight, and Caufield signed the same contract at the same time and are all getting significant roles with their NHL club.

Vegas called a couple guys up for tonight’s game so they’ll be full if Reaves is healthy, 1 short if he’s still out. Speaking of Reavo…

Yes I agree not sure why Boldy has not played up with the big club yet. I mean the chance of him playing in the playoffs seem slim (barring injuries) if he is not going to get any games in before.

I just read that Rossi got the full GREEN LIGHT from doctors today to doing full/no limit working out again! This means his Myocarditis is no longer present and he’s back to normal activities!

Great news for him, his family and Wild fans!

I agree getting a few games in before the playoffs would have been nice for his nerves, but he would hardly be the first rookie to debut in the playoffs…

So I spent the last 30 minutes watching Rossi highlights after reading about his good news health wise and my lord if this kid can get back to form and you put him with Kaprizov, watch out NHL!!

It’s awesome to think about what this team could look like in the near future!!

Not that it really matters, but it’d sure be nice to see them figure out the Blues to end the regular season. Hopefully they got some solid practice in during the break and the D tightens up as well.

Yes but I also think they will start with their current lineup. So we will see if he gets a chance.

St Louis has nothing to play for and Minnesota still has a chance at the 2 seed. #unscripted

Wild has had their chances, this nobody goalie is standing on his head, should be at least 2-2….

It should but I’m sick of watching our D constantly turn the puck over. Does St Louis have a ridiculous forecheck because they make us look like a squirts team every time we play them.

Not the kind of game you want to have before going into the playoffs for Talbot, but with the Avs up huge over the Kings early the Wild are playing for nothing, just make sure nobody gets hurt in the final 4 periods…

The Nathan MacKinnon injury could be huge….

Did something new come out because I was reading this afternoon they are hopeful he’ll be back for the playoffs and just got banged up in Vegas. Nothing to do with his previous injury.

They’ve had a great season, but this game against the Blues is how the Wild typically look come playoffs.

On the road against the Avs…. not expecting much different.

Avs announced something cryptic like “They expect him to return for the start of the playoffs”

They aren’t just resting him with home ice throughout the playoffs on the line…

Had a very slight chance. Not like they held their fate.

Seemed like a meaningless game by both teams. Not very physical.
Good goaltending on one side and not Talbots best effort.

Who says they are playing the AVS?

Throw away game. Goaltending was the difference, and STL really locked it down the last half of the game.

Vegas and Colorado both won, so comes down to the final game for who the wild face 1st round.

Did anyone watch that Reaves interview with John Scott? A Vegas series is looking to be very entertaining…

Reaves: “I got a little notebook out, just takin names and getting ready, don’t think I forget that kind of stuff … you see Foligno going after guys and some of their guys taking liberties … if we catch Minnesota at some point, there’ll be a response.”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but since Vegas has a 2 point lead on Colorado and the Avalanche only have 1 game remaining, the best they can do is tie them. And the tie breaker is regulation wins. Vegas has 40, Colorado currently has 38 so if they beat LA they will only have 39 regulation wins. Based on this, Vegas has locked down first place.

Perhaps I’m missing something as multiple individuals has stated that Colorado still has a shot at first place.

You are wrong.. The win column you are looking at includes OT wins.
Vegas currently has 30 Regulation Wins.
Colorado currently has 34 Regulation Wins.

I’d rather play Vegas anyways. Even if Reaves is looking for trouble!

    Oh alright, gotcha. Thanks.

Reaves is a punk ass goon. Unfortunately the only player that can match up against him physically is Tom Wilson, another punk.

Every minute Reeves plays is a minute less their impact players are on the ice…I expect they let him go crazy the first few shifts to try and set the tone for the series…

You want to see something really wild? Check out this highlight reel from Kaprizov and tell me how many of these slick plays you have seen just this season… There is a damn good reason some of us were so dang excited to get him here this year and this is what we were looking at:

Funny thing, the one between the legs move he didnt score in that clip, but he did it this year with the Wild and said it was the first time it worked. LOL

Agree if Reeves is on the ice that means one of the worst players in the NHL is on the ice. Keep your head on a swivel and just skate around him and try and score. Lord knows he and his line will not.

As much as people hate Tom Wilson and his gooning it up at least he has some skill.
Reeves has very little if any.

I’ll never get why those 2 players always get compared when they’re so different. Both are big tough guys, but that’s where the similarities end.

Wilson is a top 6 power forward, Reaves has never cracked a 3rd line.
Wilson plays PP/PK, Reaves does not.
Wilson can play hockey, Reaves can’t.
Wilson is a psychopath, Reaves is an entertainer.

Reaves and the Vegas 4th line has been an absolute liability this season. No one can afford to fight Reaves in a close game, 5 minute break for Foligno/Reaves is not a fair trade.

10 years since we lost the Boogyman. He would have put these guys in there place.

I think most use the comparison with size only and that Wilson is one of the few players willing to fight Reeves if challenged. Reeves is actually a good skater for his height and weight, if he gets a head of steam he’s a runaway freight train that can inflict major damage if the player isn’t looking. That’s where he’s effective and why he’s in the NHL, he forces opposing players to drop their focus a bit and always find where’s he’s at on the ice…if you want proof watch how many opposing team breakout passes are merely chips up off the boards on his wing side when he’s on the ice, they know he’s likely taking them out if they hold onto the puck for the extra second needed to actually make a pass on the stick…

The one thing you can do you pi$$ him off and get him off his game is to ignore him, if you take the bait and start trash talking and getting cheap, he’s doing his job and is effective…

To be clear, I wasn’t comparing Reeves production to Wilson’s production. Solely based on stats, Wilson is an extremely productive player. He plays on the top line with Ovechkin and Backstrom and puts up good numbers. Reeves does not.

I was only comparing their character and style as both being punk ass goons, which they are. And quite honestly, Tom Wilson should not even be playing at this time after the incident with the Rangers.
