Correct, I think there are only 3 teams in the NHL that hasn’t. Big pair of games against Vegas. Its hard to believe how good Vegas is and the Wild are 10-2-2 against them. That is impressive.

It is pretty interesting. Must just match up well against them. My cousin who’s a die hard Avs fan wants nothing to do with Vegas. They can’t seem to beat them, which blows my mind with the speed they have.

    How good is Toronto

How good are teams like Carolina and Florida?! Carolina is actually leading the entire league in points. Really hard to gauge how good any of the top teams in each division is overall without any comparison outside the division.

Not sure why that was reviewed. Not enough in my eyes to take a chance at reviewing and it burned them.

5-3 after 2. Crazy amount of action. Would have been awesome if Folingo buried his breakaway out of the box. Getting some playoff nastiness in this one.

Bad blood for sure. Will lead to an even more fun one Wednesday.

D non existent but the offense keeping us in it. I’d love to see Foligno drop the gloves with McNabb this series. Can’t stand that guy. Always taking late shots on guys.

    It’s pretty simple…gamechangers change games…we now have 2 of them…

Unreal. You cannot count this team out when trailing. Pretty incredible. It was like they flipped a switch.

That was kind of my point.

This team is so much fun to watch. They never appear out of any game.

Side note, anyone see Wilson’s latest dirty play? He hasn’t been sent a message yet, but punching a player in the back of the head who is on the ice then body slamming a superstar better lead to a tougher message.

    KK and EK Joe? jester

lol, I just watched the replay of the 1st period (I missed it golfing last night) and saw Ek’s goal, the goalie had his stick backwards! wtf!

Ek’s been getting the lucky bounces (or in this case the backwards goalie stick luck) all season, good for him in a contract year….

Honestly if it wasn’t Tom Wilson I don’t think the initial scrum was that bad. Guys throw jabs in those situations all the time. The ranger player was kind of in a messed up position where his arms were pinned. So definitely not necessary but didn’t think it was that bad. The body slam was dangerous but at that point is was kind of mayhem. It happened to be a super star with his helmet off. The flexing in the box for tossing a 170lb player around was a bit ridiculous. I would guess he misses some time because your history especially in hockey will follow you around.
Definitely hurts the caps if he is suspended and Ovi is out as well.

He lost his stick and his D man gave it to him upside down. LOL

Panarin is probably out the rest of the regular season. Perhaps longer. He didnt have his helmet on when Wilson rag dolled him.

I think they will throw the book at Wilson, he’s just not getting the point after several suspensions…something crazy like 30-40 games…

It’s an ABSOLUTE MIRACLE that a player or Ref hasn’t had their fingers chopped off in big scrums like this with gloves off and skates blades all over the pace….

Kirill on the ice and Kirilloff the ice

Minnesota sports defiantly has in influx of young rookie poptential superstars on every major sports team (Kaprizov, Jefferson for the Vikes, Edwards for the t-wolves)

We’ll see if Kirillof can maintain his recent streak vs his first 0-30+ at bats….

You have to admit Joe he has been a beast the last 8-9 games call it lucky bounces or what have you. I don’t think him being in a contract season has anything to do with his success this season though. He is definitely getting more opportunity then he has the past several seasons. Which is partially because they don’t have very good centers but also because he has deserved it. He is averaging almost 2 more minutes a game this year than last. 4 minutes more than the 18-19. He is not picking up those minutes by being on the PP now either.
As important as the KK and goalie additions have been. That Ek line has been pretty damn important.

That will definitely be a factor I’m sure. Rest of season not that big of a deal for a team that is eliminated.

Did you not watch the video of all his cheap shots and him shoving Buchnevich’s face into the ice? That was a little more than the normal punches guys do in that type of scrum.

Yes I know of Tom Wilson KP. I was not defending his actions but I think a lot of people like yourself use his past and perception on that particular play. Would other players get the book thrown at them for that play. I doubt it. Will Wilson most likely. Is more for this particular play or his history as a whole.

$5000 fine and no suspension. Apparently the fine is for the punch in Pavel. He was on his back, stick under his neck pulling up and punched the back of his head. Pulled Panarins hair, body slammed him then slammed his head into the ice again.

For suspensions the DoPS uses past offenses to levy new ones so yes they matter.
