I don’t think that line needs an enforcer though… )

    LMAO

Too soon? Lol he’s a 6’6″ Teddy bear. I do think he should get a shot between Zucc and Kap though, he played there a couple games earlier this year.

How about swapping Sturm and Hartman at some point? Sturm gets an opportunity higher in the lineup and get’s Hartman and Bonino both back to their natural positions.

has anyone even noticed Hartman on the ice the past 10 games or so? He’s disappeared (other than getting penalties)

How about that Kaprizov goal last night! The kid has to do everything himself out there it seems lately, Ryan Carter posted a great screengrab where it’s Kaprizov and 4 Coyotes around the net with the goalie and he still scored…

Robertson for Dallas has been on a hot streak lately, should be a great race for the Calder…

Come on Joe! That is exactly how you draw up the 1 on 3 play. We practiced that for hours every week.

To be fair it was a stretch pass that sprung him originally with a much needed line change. Not sure how KK still had the energy to continue that play as he missed on a break right before that also.

Wow, Hartman took alot less $$ to sign a 3 year extension with the Wild, perhaps GMBG can get the others to take a little less too! While I wished we would keep our 4th line guys to minimum contracts, Hartman is a great sandpaper/character guy and should be a 4th line staple for years to come! Great deal by GMBG!

What nobody watched the game last night?
KK did his thing again. Undressed the defensemen on his first goal.

Yeah I did and yeah he did. I posted or at least I thought I posted comments but they’re not here. I’m sure they were genius takes.

Will be interesting to see if Bjugstad swaps in for Rask tonight.

Doesn’t look like Bjugstad is in. Kinda surprised. Sturm has been great lately and what a nice contract for hartman. Helps out both sides.

This power play though. And yes I know SJ is bad but finally finally got it going. Hope it doesn’t fade into the playoffs.

Quick Matt Boldy AHL Update – 3 goals and 6 assists in 7 games played for the Iowa Wild…

He would sure look nice in Rask’s spot on the PP1 unit, that’s where he’s been playing in Iowa…

Boldy playing center in Iowa? I havent seen any of his play but I have noticed he has steadily been producing so that is great to see for sure.

He’s listed as LW, from the highlights i’ve seen of him, he plays Rask’s side board spot on the powerplay and has a couple of 1-timer bombs top shelf from that spot…Not sure if he’s taking draws at all like he did in College….

Boldy definitely would be an improvement over Rask for sure. I have to imagine that Dean will be sitting Rask here at some point now that Bjugstad is healthy. He just drags that line down so much.

FYI its Kaprizov’s birthday today. The Wild aired a Becoming Wild episode a week or two ago of him. He’s so dang likable.

Not sure Bjugstad really trips his trigger either. Won 7 or so in a row with the hottest PP in the league over the last month. Not sure much tweaking will be happening. Maybe the Blues expose some things that may trigger a change or two.

Rask does NOTHING on the powerplay ice except MAYBE win the odd faceoff here and there and pickup the odd assist…Teams pay ZERO attention to him and he’s not going to shoot so it’s basically like having 4-4…Boldy was one of the main faceoff guys at BC and the WJC, he can win draws…

I’m guessing Wild brass dont want to put the #1 center stigma on him in his NHL debut and as we discussed earlier if he doesnt replace Rask, who else are you going to pull out of the lineup right now??? Nobody…

Don’t disagree on Rask. Just don’t necessarily see them bringing in a rookie out of college that is more of a wing and throwing him in the 1st line role when as I stated they have won 7 straight and there PP is number one in the league for a month. Maybe if they get thumped a couple games in a row they will maybe change something up.

There are two ways I see Boldy coming up this year. Injuries and as a Black Ace for the playoffs depending on Iowa’s season. He would certainly be an upgrade over who we have on the taxi squad.

Just saw the NHL also inked a deal with TNT today. I wonder who they will bring in or have announce the games. Just bring in the people from NBCSN?

Yes, I suspect ESPN and TNT will be bidding for the NBCSN on-air talent with Patrick Sharp the most in demand…I also think ESPN will bring back some old but familiar faces too and maybe even JR gets a 2nd chance with a new station like TNT to get them some free press early on??

I agree with this. I also saw they plan to carry over the format from the NBA for broadcasting. Which, I dont watch much, but I think its very professionally done.
I think it would be hilarious to have someone like Barkley talk about it. Sure he doesnt know much about hockey, but he is entertaining.
I hope for all things Hockey that Melrose and Bucci are not the cornerstones for ESPN.
Is it right that they are going to require some sort of package to view their games on ESPN?
