And holy cow, this KK97 contract keeps getting more expensive. Ugh

Stone hands with a big goal just now. LOL

That was a typical Stone Hands goal, chopping at a rebound in the crease… thats his bread and butter!

We have Vegas’s number for sure, but another big night for Talbot!

Pretty crazy how it’s been that way since they’ve come into the league. And they have been a good team the whole time. Back to Denver to see if we learned anything from the last drubbing.
Do we know why Zucc missed tonight’s game? Hopefully not Covid. Also, Parise has been out for a few games with his covid. Hopefully nothing is serious with him in that regard.

They said he tweeked something in the other game and tried to go but couldn’t. That’s all I heard.

Zuc was a last second decision as a precaution, he’ll be fine…Parise is off the covid list now so i’m sure he plays tomorrow or Wednesday night if he needs more conditioning work…

Zucc out again tonight. Johnson back to tax squad after clearing waivers. Sturm back in. Parise and Zucc were skating today, but neither will play. Understandable with Parise since he hasnt practiced since coming off Covid list.
Man, the Canucks are overrun with Covid now. What is it 20 players and staff?
Some NHL teams are vaccinating staff and players. Dallas has vaccinated everyone who didnt test positive for Covid earlier this year.
Big game tonight. I hope they come out better than the last two in Denver. 6 of the next 8 games at home.
The Avs are the hottest team in the NHL right now.
Wild would be in 2nd place had Parise gone to the bench in Vegas like he should have. Blues are tanking now. Lost 6 in a row. Binnington needs to fake fight someone again he is lost.

I’m surprised Johnson passed waivers, centers on a rookie caphit are hard to come by…

I was thinking the EXACT same thing.
Trade deadline is what a week away? Pretty quiet so far.

Pretty cool to feel a little like normal again tonight with some fans in the stands!

Avs have 2 AHL defensemen in the lineup tonight. Hopefully that helps a little.

Yeah she’s not great, but the Wild have come out skating! Let’s hope they can keep it going.

How about Bjugstad creating scoring lately? Didn’t see that coming after the start he had.

I dunno. I am at the game and the fake fan noise is so loud you can’t here the regular crowd at all. It is real annoying.

How is that NOTcross checking or interference on spurge on for their 3rd goal!?? Zebra has to start calling that in this league. Not playing the puck, no chance to play it…..

    Well…that escalated quickly…

It’s comically sad that we have Bonino AND Rask on our #1 powerplay unit..

Thank God we only play the Avs one more time this season…hopefully they hit some injuries before the playoffs start, its about the only thing that could stop them right now…

The Avs have made it brutally evident that we can only skate with them for one period.

    Yup!
Grubauer has got get burned out playing EVERY game too. Hopefully it will catch up to them at the right time for us but they can play hockey that’s for sure.

Kind of. I was at the game and it was hard to watch because of the piped in fan noise. It was so loud of fake fans it made it hard to watch and you could not even here the fans that were there. They could easily add another 5k safely.
Third goal cross check was brutal.
Girard easily uses the smallest stick in the NHL. It look like he was using a knee hockey stick.
Colorado is very good and deep. I don’t think anybody would have thought the wild would be where they are currently.
Had some wild employees in the know in our suite. I would not bank on Rossi playing this year. Not that he is not recovering well.

Ha see I double posted. Cell service inside the arena was terrible which was weird.

We desperately miss Foligno in the lineup. He will hopefully return soon, but having him out there makes a huge difference.
I am a fan of Luke Johnson. He isnt the most skilled player by any stretch but has some grit and gets around the ice fairly well and wins draws.

IDK, I thought tough guy enforcer Nick Bjugstad really sent a message to Colorado last night whistling

Gigi is kinda like Wes Walz and doesnt talk with much emotion.

Carter has been surprisingly really good.

I’ve 100% reversed my opinion of Ryan Carter, I like his honesty, stories and him speaking from first hand experience…

Not a fan of Walz as well, my biggest pet peeve is him talking up a “Young fella” to win this critical draw and get the Wild out of the zone, Wild player then subsequently loses the draw and he goes silent on his lack of a prediction (He does this about 3-4 times again and I think he’s like 1-50)… oh and the “He’s been out there for a 46.275 second shift”…. who cares…

but at least we no longer have “chuckles” Greenway, so it could be alot worse…

Carter is my favorite, you can tell his lack of experience but just brings the right attitude and demeanor to the broadcast. There’s once or twice every game where he loses his train of thought and just stops talking or trails off. I’d love to see Lapanta’s face when that happens.

Walz has been a lot better this year but he’s just not made out for in game color commentary… way too serious and matter-of-factly. He’s like the guy on your beer league team writing PP/PK line combos on the board. He just sucks the fun out of the broadcast and never stops talking. I will say he is really good with post game analysis though.

They should just have Caters on Air and leave Walz and GiGi for the studio. I wonder if Parish will get a chance to do some color.

100% this^^^^^^ I think Gigi will be fine with time, but she gets the deer in the headlight look.
