You made a very good sportsman’s choice! Very respectable decision on a quality buck Randy! I tip my hat to you sir.
November 1, 2021 at 8:58 pm #2071464I know Mother Nature is cruel. But holy crap was that awesome to see how high he got launched. I’ve seen many bucks lifted up while their antlers were locked up, but nothing like this. I could hear the thump at 200 yrds away in the wind tonight
November 1, 2021 at 9:11 pm #2071466Congrats and well done Randy! You sure it wasn’t a moose or elk that launched that thing?!? 😂

DTNovember 2, 2021 at 12:33 am #2071489Congrats and well done Randy! You sure it wasn’t a moose or elk that launched that thing?!? 😂
Godzilla is a freakish huge deer. I could stack 3 of these 10’s in his rack. Guessing it’s 6 or 7 years old and has split tines everywhere. Looks more like a muley with all the splits. I don’t have 1 single good trail cam pic of him. He’s avoided my cameras like the plague. He was around here all of July and most of Aug. watched out here many evenings. As soon as archery opened, he vacated and slips through once in a while. Someone will have a buck of a lifetime
November 2, 2021 at 8:14 am #2071513Dang Randy! You got me dreaming of Godzilla coming through the woods now, knocking trees over and launching 10 pointers out of his way. Not sure if I brought enough arrows!!!
Hoping for some rut magic today!

November 2, 2021 at 3:13 pm #2071612Still sitting. Had 4 does and 6 bucks between 9 and 11 am. Nothing since. Pond has stayed frozen over all day. Come on Godzilla!!! 🤞🦌
November 2, 2021 at 5:58 pm #2071638Just does and a forky tonight in Iowa. Hopefully the last 45 minutes brings them out!
Should also mention great bucks guys! And congrats on filling a tag.
November 2, 2021 at 7:39 pm #2071657Nice deer guys! I would like to see the deer that was tossing that 10 pointer Randy! Our youngest and I both tested positive for covid yesterday so at home with two kids that are now out school until the 12th. Still might try and sneak out with the bow before guns a blazin but will see how everyone feels.I should prolly never get sick again considering I got the vax and got covid, wishing thinking anyway.
November 2, 2021 at 8:07 pm #2071668Sounds like you should quarantine in the deer stand Weedis! Should be nbd since it’s in the backyard. Hope you and the girls get thru it quickly.
November 2, 2021 at 8:54 pm #2071691My son was like a blood hound tracking this one down. Not much for deer moving until this one came along with about 5 minutes of light left. SE mn

November 3, 2021 at 4:04 pm #2071903South winds are forcing me out of the main part of the farm and onto the hillside. Last night I had the big 8 walk out onto the field about 60 yards away just before dark, and about a dozen does and fawns feeding in the corn at any given time throughout the sit.

This morning was a bust. Moved over to a different spot for the pm. Could really use some action!Attachments:
November 4, 2021 at 6:09 pm #2072115Two does out of bow range and a pheasant this evening, saw a decent buck this morning across the field

deertrackerPosts: 9235November 6, 2021 at 4:04 pm #2072322Quiet thread today. Doing an all day sit. Only saw 2 small bucks all day. Usually have a lot of activity with does at a minimum. Afraid the bigger bucks may be locked down.
DTNovember 6, 2021 at 4:43 pm #2072332Nice deer people are getting, here is a picture of mine, kind of like sunset pictures when fishing. Had a doe in heat go by with a couple little bucks chasing her earlier but no big ones….perfect weather for an all day sit.

November 6, 2021 at 4:43 pm #2072334Sat till 11 this morning. Had my first sighting of a shooter of the year at 9:55and a lot of activity. A lot of fawns still with does. I’m the opposite of you DT, I think we are a little behind. But who really knows, somewhere there is stuff happening. Back at it tonight!

Are you wearing your blaze orange wife beaters and shorts? Gotta be awful warm out there today.
November 6, 2021 at 5:22 pm #2072342Nice little 8 walked right under me, in 2 more years he won’t be getting a free pass.

November 6, 2021 at 5:55 pm #2072344DT, I’m in Iowa. So very likely we’re seeing different things. Good luck out there!
So shortly after I type that had a big buck chase a doe right by with no shot. That was definitely lockdownish Ha
