Here are the deer playing caught on our trail camera from Oct 2018! I know it’s not from this year, but 2018 was the last year we put out trail cameras… I mean I think so. I might have to double check that now that I think about it.

All from the same spot this morning. I went to a different stand hoping to intercept the big one. Ended up shooting a doe and as I was hauling her out two pics dropped into my phone.

My buddy got this on his camera. I called b.s. initially but then he logged into his system and showed me.

    shock shock shock .
Clearly they’re just BSing and talking/practicing mounting strategy, favorite positions, typical water cooler stuff.

A new buck showed up at the farm pond last night. I’m excited to get into the stand tomorrow afternoon. It’s getting to be that time in the season when you just don’t know what might wander through!

These were the highlight of my last card pull. Got pictures once 3 years ago of two adults then nothing till this year, this is the third time I’ve gotten bobcat on camera but the first time of more than one animal. Guess mom is raising kittens in the area for sure now.

This is my hitlist buck. He is built like a horse and has a gnarly rack. He disappeared for a while but seems to be around. Hopefully I can stick him before our corn comes out!

Yeah, rarely seen for sure. In mid Oct me and my two youngest boys were on way back from early youth firearms season and saw 5 young ones run across the road just in front of us. I had never seen a young one before that.

Good to see this one in daylight. Now I just have to see him from the tree.

Buck I had on live from the tree thread. You can see the camera straps on the tree right below my broadhead. A 2 angled pic…

First pull of the year….I know, I’m waaaaay late to the game. Ton of bucks, at least 12 different ones on only 10 acres over the last two weeks. This one is the top of the hit list now. The first pic made me smile, cause I remember thinking how much work it was to get everyone bundled up on a really windy day to put the cameras up. Totally worth it to see them all together with me.

Now to find the time to get on stand…

Cameras are all back out, and starting to take inventory for the shed season. A few good ones made it through including this nice 8. Good luck to anyone making the most of the last few days of season!
