    Here’s something you don’t want to see while out pheasant hunting. I saw this bear track on December 19, 2020 in St. Croix County, Wisconsin. I would have thought the bears would have been hibernating by then. I also saw a bear cub track before I came across this bigger track. I figured it was momma bear and baby bear and I didn’t want to get between them so I stayed out of the thick stuff in that spot.

    You can also see a coyote track heading the other direction. It had just snowed the previous night so the tracks were fresh.

    That’s pretty interesting, Boone. Definitely bear, with the 5 toe pads.

    I once, while “hunting” with my Lab pup in the mn river bottoms in Burnsville, came across a mountain lion track in the snow. Was a creepy feeling when I saw that…
