    Hey HRG,

Yes sir. My boat arrived Tuesday of last week. It’s having the electronics and trolling motor mounted. I have some pictures but they don’t reveal very much. I pick it up on Wednesday, January 30th. It looks beautiful. I want to thank you for your effort in helping me. I will post pictures as soon as I receive it.

Hey joel, did you mention you’re in NC? My father in law helped me wrap my impact with paint protection film (as you would on a car) and he just moved to Lancaster, SC (only a few miles from the border). Not sure if he has his company fully moved from WI to SC yet but if getting the boat wrapped is something you might be interested in he’s the only film guy I know that has done one and he did a phenomenal job

    Hey Kyle,

I’m only an hour from your father-in-law. I’m at Lake Norman. I never thought about wrapping it. I pick it up in a couple of days and will post pictures. I would like to see what he’s done, too. I went with the monochromatic white. It also has a gel coat on it. It’s really sharp.

    Joel,

I think those white ones look really sharp, good choice. I’m talking about paint protection film (clear bra some people call it), which is a clear polyurethane. It’s thicker than a colored vinyl wrap and offers excellent abrasion Protection for trailering. Installed above the water line only, I feel good knowing that first time it accidentally clips a dock my paint is protected from rash. Of course i still use fenders but this is just an added layer. If yours has a gel coat you might not consider it since you already have that thick clear layer of protection. Let’s see some pics!

Right on, Kyle! I guess I didn’t understand what you meant. I would absolutely be interested in that wrap. I’ll ask about the gel coat and if it would make any difference. I should have pictures posted by Friday. I believe my boat is a lot like yours. I’ll talk to you soon.

Not sure where you are getting your information from but aluminum does not use gel coat.

    Hey Tom,

I’m sorry. I stand corrected. I meant to say clear coat, not gel coat. It’s my understanding that they only apply the clear coat to the monochromatic painted boats. It seems to give it a nice sheen. Anyway, thank you for your reply.

    Hey guys,

She finally showed up! I couldn’t be happier! I definitely need an education on these Humminbird’s, though!

Outstanding, love the way the saltwater gear looks and the galvanized trailer!

Thanks, Kyle. Actually, the trailer isn’t galvanized. It’s all aluminum. I wasn’t sure about the all white hull, but I really like it. It’s metallic and has a lot of flake. It really shines with the clearcoat on it.

    I have a 2019 Impact SS 1775 – 115 4 stroke
NOT the Pro XS ( cost was a large factor when I bought mine)
    LOVE mine.
Gets on plane FAST with 2-3 people -Mercury Spitfire 13×17 4 blade aluminum prop
Top speed with 3 men, large cooler for 4 days Canada, clothes and other food/junk is about 38 MPH across the lake.
Just me and another out fishing for a few hours 40-41 top speed – didn’t buy it for speed.
Travels really well, large gas tank – SIPS the gas
    Tons of storage.
I added a lot of my own and will send pics if you like.
Terrova 60″ 80 lbs thrust – works great. For Canada MAYBE 112 lb but for 90% of my use ZERO problems.
THe extra seat ( SS) stays at home almost always except in CANADA and then it comes with but usually sits on the dock.
    Good luck
