    17 anterless…
Can a guy get dehydrated from excessive nose drip? I think I’m down a liter.

Got up to 24 slicks, then a 6 point. Every one headed north. It’s like a migration.
Winds have really picked up. Might have to put the coat on!

Sounds like you are overpopulated with does. smash

Getting blanked so far this morning. I’d fill my doe tag if I saw one. Yesterday was slow as far as movement goes as well. I don’t think I’m going to sit all day today. Might drive to L and M Fleet in Thief River to brighten my day. waytogo

Well despite having a banner 27 deer morning, I ran to the house to “dispose of” last night’s chili. Downed a hot chocolate and headed back out. Winds have now switched to Easterly which makes this mornings tree terrible. So, to the crossing I go. Hoping for some, Big Ol’ Antlers. I hear they make great soup….

Sitting over the cow ravaged corn plot tonight. Kicked out 1 deer on my way in. Mental note for next year, cows will do what they need to do to get to standing corn. jester

I still need to pin 8 of our rifle enclosed stand sites. Those are just bow stand sites.

Slow evening. Wind picked up, deer slowed down. 2 small does was it. One in the bottom right corner of pic. Almost stepped on an 8 point that hid in the weeds instead of run.

Ain’t giving up. New spot. Gotta sit on the ground in a dead fall, the activity since yesterday’s snow is way up on the back 40. Need to see some ivory!

My 17 and 12 year olds are coming into camp tonight. Deer have been moving better the last few days. Should be a good weekend.

She may not look like a deer killer, but she’s ready! Her younger brother at home is rooting for her. He’s ” next man up”

YES!!! Nice work DT and sons!

I’m back out up in Malmo and have seen much more action this morning than early in the week… 7 deer so far including a decent 8 pt that I let walk at 80 yards.

My son’s deer had a previous injury that was interesting. There is a hole in the hind quarters near the top. It was about 2 inches deep and rotten around the edges. I hope the hind quarter on that side isn’t wrecked.
